Nukes won't happen. Putin does not have a launch button. there is a chain of command to launch.
I think he's likely to do something more sneaky. Maybe take a leaf out of his mate Bashar Al-Assad's book and drop a load of nerve gas somewhere, or perhaps more likely, bomb the crap out of a nuclear instillation causing a massive environmental incident and use the state media to blame the Ukrainian forces.

Bollox mate, if they wanted a nuclear incident they'd drop a tactical nuke.

Why? Simply put because any nuclear instillation incident will be blamed on them anyways, so what's the difference?

At what point will people actually realise that the Russian army bombing themselves for over a month at a nuclear power station sounds errrm [Poor language removed] odd

Am I alone in being on Russia,s side in this military operation? Or are there others who want them to finish off Zelensky,s stubborn stance that is costing the west fortunes in cash and food/ gas supplies
So you support the invasion of a sovereign state by another country? Jeez...

Launching an actual nuke is a much more inflammatory action. Putin would lose all but his craziest hard line support and there is the potential for a response strike from the west.

He can spin an incident such as this to his own people regardless if the rest of the world knows who is to blame.

By the same logic the Ukrainians bombing the Ukrainian staff there that are operating the plant , and risking a leak that will disproportionately affect Ukrainian citizens in the area, also sounds odd.

Your statement would also assume Putin cares about the safety of the soldiers involved - there doesn’t seem a great deal of evidence to back that up tbh.

Both sides should follow the recommendation by the UN agency to establish a security and safety zone around the plant and as I understand it that would mean the withdrawal of Russian troops from the plant itself.

The likes of Mearscheimer and other very noted experts with no investment in the matter are on record saying one thing Putin doesn't do is bluff mate, I tend to believe their analysis based on years of speeches and actions they've studied rather than hope someone like Truss, Biden or Stoltenberg knows him better
No one believes you Stevey boy, nor do you make much sense. But that may have to do with sounding like a mouthpiece of someone else no one believes...
