Tactically sending reinforcements and resupplies into a churning pot is madness mate
Sadly, this is correct. Regrouping a force in a "safe" nearby area would make far more sense.
I agree to both. The point is that it may not be a choice yet rather a sign of a potential inability to resupply a force or to successfully relocate it.

OSINT sources are apparently showing large numbers of abandoned Russian armour, completely intact. Why? Do they have the oil to move them?

The whole ‘regrouping’ message appears to be more of an euphemism for a force and unorganised head long retreat leaving their vital equipment.

As a Russian, you’d at least be wanting to push forward some form of reserve to initiate a covered withdrawal to help slow the advance.

Is that happening? Are they regrouping or fleeing as the line has collapsed? Is there the capability to adequately resource their new line?

That’s a strange one. If you have to bug without your heavy stuff then surely you’d sabotage it (water/sand in fuel tanks) and torch your ammo.

But no they simply left it all ready to be used by the Ukes. Why?

Seems to me they don’t give a toss - they’ve given up. If they haven’t got a tank or a weapon then the officers can’t make them return to the fight. Also they don’t seem to care that the armour and weapons they left behind will be used against their comrades. Just weird, no indications at all of a professional, disciplined army.

'Twas ever thus. There were just a lot of them with massive, centralised production of arms.

Incidentally I have one edgy friend with a Janes subscription who likes to think he's immune to Western propaganda and has been telling us all for weeks that Russia have Ukraine right where they want them, that ammo is no issue and they want a negotiated settlement based on where the lines were 4 weeks ago.

Must give him a call.

Following on from the above, and possibly for another thread but what the hell!

And for the first time you use that word 'orcs' just like @Mutzo Nutzo did today - after I'd said how offensive it is to me.

You're from Bristol lad, why are you speaking like you're from Western Ukraine - make you feel big to finally get a chance to say something to someone that you know they find hugely offensive and dehumanizing?
I’m sorry - I should have realised comparing Orcs to Russians is wrong.

Orcs have feelings too.
