I have a feeling Putin won't be given the chance to do something that extreme. There has been a definite shift from some of Putin's allies. They are being more vocal in their criticism of the invasion (not of Putin directly, but I think it's clear what they're getting at).

I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually was afforded the same "fell out of a window" demise that he gave many of his opponents.
