On my life( as my nan says)
No europa league income, no carling cup income, everybody is skint (less merchandising/ season ticket income), higher salaries for Arteta, Rodwell ect, potential signings going to better paying/better placed clubs (ManCity/Spurs), the teams better players of 2009/10 coming back from world cup knackered (Jonny H?), injuries and lack of form to key players (Mikel, Saha, Jags), Peanuts ongoing contract situation leading to subpar performances, lack of investment from Bill and his mates.......
Think that covers it! In all seriousness, whilst its upsetting it's not entirely suprising, even the likes of Birmingham and Sunderland can land players we struggle to despite being in a similar spot in the prem for whatever reason. Moyes has never had loads to spend and without a Lescott type boost to his funds this year it was always going to be a battle. I hope (and think) he'll shuffle his pack a bit (Yak, Vaughan ect) and hopefully land a couple of players on loan. Would hope we can pick up a CB tho if Jonny H goes but in truth he is'nt a regular starter when Distin and Jags are fit and he has sell on value, which not alot of our squad players really do.
LCAB, top marks for your work, is anything incoming or outgoing likely to get done before we pick up our 3 points from that 'orrible place down the road on Sunday?

so if not Mbokani who ?????
nugent??

They say that the income from the europa league is chicken feed compared to the champions league and that the domestic cups are hardly worth bothering with financially. I made the point that being able to develop on Bellefield, the investment into the corporate facilities at Goodison and the improved deal with Chang surely boosts our coffers. We've hardly gone over the top on wages either.
I'm not asking for us to go out and buy the finished article. We should be able to do what Arsenal do though and buy players, develop them and sell on. To hear that we can't even afford wages is very concerning.
Would you count Heitinga as a big player mate? And any news on him leaving?
