Just came home and saw this thread has 45 pages and I dont have the time to read through it all. Was there any news I missed?

Your Uncles are goin' for the Landy Record n the numbers , btw ..

The GAME , is The GAME , is The GAME , Young Skywalker , lid.

You MIGHT wanna go back 10 pages or so though ,...

He's trying to create some cash given our useless board sit on their fat arses taking the money !!

Have to say I surprised at this. You normally have a good line into the club, but you seem to be suggesting that not only are the board not investing, they are actually removing money from the club. Am I reading that right? Given that the club doesn't pay dividends and I believe only elstone is paid (?), that only leaves interest payments (or theoretically something against company law)?

No europa league income, no carling cup income, everybody is skint (less merchandising/ season ticket income), higher salaries for Arteta, Rodwell ect, potential signings going to better paying/better placed clubs (ManCity/Spurs), the teams better players of 2009/10 coming back from world cup knackered (Jonny H?), injuries and lack of form to key players (Mikel, Saha, Jags), Peanuts ongoing contract situation leading to subpar performances, lack of investment from Bill and his mates.......

Think that covers it! In all seriousness, whilst its upsetting it's not entirely suprising, even the likes of Birmingham and Sunderland can land players we struggle to despite being in a similar spot in the prem for whatever reason. Moyes has never had loads to spend and without a Lescott type boost to his funds this year it was always going to be a battle. I hope (and think) he'll shuffle his pack a bit (Yak, Vaughan ect) and hopefully land a couple of players on loan. Would hope we can pick up a CB tho if Jonny H goes but in truth he is'nt a regular starter when Distin and Jags are fit and he has sell on value, which not alot of our squad players really do.

LCAB, top marks for your work, is anything incoming or outgoing likely to get done before we pick up our 3 points from that 'orrible place down the road on Sunday?

Thanks , mate .

Welcome , btw .

Unlikely BUT NOT impossible .

Please Moyes, do the following:

Out:
Piennar to either Chelsea or Spurs for £2-3 m. now - constantly playing a contract rebel most be demotivating for a lot of players in the squad.
Heitinga to a club in Germany for £8-9 m. - Duffy will be back up until the summer when Wheather and others will be free agents.

In:
Charlie Adam - once again ran the show in yesterdays game - would put pressure on Arteta, and we would have someone to take our free kicks/corners.
Adam Hammill - he could be an Lennon/Walcott/Bale in the making - would give us some much needed pace and directness.
Mbokani - get he wants to come, push the work permit guys or appeal.

That would leave me happy.

Did i tell you about the drawing I saw on a flipchart in the home changing room when I went on a fathers day tour? We all sat round waiting for some woman to educate us, I sat down next to a flipchart, so I had a look

It was a fella with red hair running on a treadmill with a chain coming out of his back attached to a boardroom table full of people.

I'd be very pleased with that myself too, Dane.
