Not that I want him to leave but I dont know why Moyes doesn't give Kenwright a public ultimatum, find investment soon or im off.

Probably because he'd sack Moyes straight away then Bill would disappear until his next Christmas message.

He's trying to create some cash given our useless board sit on their fat arses taking the money !!

I've always thought that the criticism of Bill was unfair. I thought that his tight grasp of the purse strings was an act of austerity that would serve us well in the long run, while other clubs were sinking in debt. These days I'm really not so sure.

I think that Vaughan needs to go for the sake of his career. The Yak is no longer in Moyes's plans. Hopefully the tactic of loaning him to Leicester will reap us the highest possibly transfer fee in the summer. I don't think that Pienaar is playing well enough to justify keeping hold of him until the summer. He wants Champions League football and to be earning money that reflects him being at the peak of his playing powers. Who can blame him? I'd like to think that we'd get a good deal. So, I'm ok with the players leaving. I would have preferred us to be bringing players like Gueye and Baxter through though to help to flesh out the squad. If we get a couple of injuries we're going to be in real trouble.

He's NOT great .

Vero .

Smithy today thinks that it is 71.66 (recurring) % certain we won't sign anyone this transfer window.

Down slightly from yesterday.

No reason why.

That is all.

I've got to admit that things just don't add up. We seem to be going backwards and it's hard to find an explanation for it.

I think you have just said what I have been feeling the last 6 months. Lets hope 2011 is the year we push on and get beyond the bull****.

Just came home and saw this thread has 45 pages and I dont have the time to read through it all. Was there any news I missed?

Loyal to Kenwright or the fans, as im sure 90% of the fans would understand him being disillusioned with the situation. As a previous poster put it we seem to be going backwards when everyone else is going forwards.

I would hate moyes to leave, to me he's the most important person at the club ATM.

No europa league income, no carling cup income, everybody is skint (less merchandising/ season ticket income), higher salaries for Arteta, Rodwell ect, potential signings going to better paying/better placed clubs (ManCity/Spurs), the teams better players of 2009/10 coming back from world cup knackered (Jonny H?), injuries and lack of form to key players (Mikel, Saha, Jags), Peanuts ongoing contract situation leading to subpar performances, lack of investment from Bill and his mates.......

Think that covers it! In all seriousness, whilst its upsetting it's not entirely suprising, even the likes of Birmingham and Sunderland can land players we struggle to despite being in a similar spot in the prem for whatever reason. Moyes has never had loads to spend and without a Lescott type boost to his funds this year it was always going to be a battle. I hope (and think) he'll shuffle his pack a bit (Yak, Vaughan ect) and hopefully land a couple of players on loan. Would hope we can pick up a CB tho if Jonny H goes but in truth he is'nt a regular starter when Distin and Jags are fit and he has sell on value, which not alot of our squad players really do.

LCAB, top marks for your work, is anything incoming or outgoing likely to get done before we pick up our 3 points from that 'orrible place down the road on Sunday?
