The 80/20 thing is a Tinder stat iirc. Of course basing your entire dating philosophy on Tinder isn't exactly healthy. I do blame Tinder, and other dating apps, a bit though. It genuinely has created a toxic environment for dating. It's made hook up culture even worse and if people are using it regularly there is no doubt it is damaging the ability to form long lasting relationships because it is so easy to find a replacement.

I do knock about on some of these anonymous boards from time to time. There's a lot that people don't really understand or get flat out wrong about these groups. There are a lot of young lads who are slipping through the cracks of society and absolutely nobody is picking them up. You cannot be surprised when they end up getting radicalised online. It's a failure of society really but most people aren't prepared to look at themselves in the mirror like that because they're doing just fine.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole it's all related in little ways. If you really want to tackle incel groups seriously you're also going to come across all the other nasty groups that look to capture disenfranchised young white men. White supremacists, neo nazis, anarco-communists, the whole shebang. They're all there, hiding under your nose.

I don't fully agree with the thesis about gender roles and stereotypes, because there's a lot of people that have fought pretty hard against that on both sides. I see where you're coming from, though.
