The thing is, it's different stages. When someone compares what Trump is doing to Nazis, they're clearly not comparing them to the 1942 version that was attempting to exterminate whole groups of people, but rather the early 1930s version that used lies and propaganda to whip up animosity against the group that they would then go on to do terrible things to.

I would have thought that was obvious like.

The laughable irony in the election of Trumo and Brexit is this completely false narrative that it's supposedly a vote against the establishment, when both have been driven by the establishment in reality. We've seen the far right create this false narrative that the liberal elite need to be defeated, which in reality is those with a balanced view, a job and a vested interest in the economy.

Get rid of the aliens and it'll all be sound, it's 1930's Germany revisited.

The idea that the Far Right (I'll call them Fascists instead of Nationalists, as your helpful poster does) don't interfere in people's lives is laughable. Ask any woman who grew up in Francoist Spain. In fact, ask any woman in America right now how the right views her womb.
