Andrew Norfolk was reporting on the issue and winning awards before robinson had discovered it was a cash cow.

The police were appalling by the way no argument there . Just a query how many grooming gangs had Robinson exposed ? Norfolk did he exposed wide scale grooming that needed exposing and ill applaud him for that .

Shouting “nobody ain’t doing nuffink “ outside a court where crimes have been reportered and investigated , offenders traced , arrested and charged , where the cps have read the files forming the opinion it meets the threadhold test and then prosecuted said offenders through a court system to conviction where judges have sentenced them and every major newspaper and news network reporting this and being applauded as some kind of hero seems odd as you like .

The family of a Syrian boy who was attacked at school say they will sue Tommy Robinson over allegations against the victim. The anti-Islam activist claimed the 15-year-old boy was involved in a separate attack on a girl at Almondbury Community School in Huddersfield.

In a series of angry Facebook videos and posts, Robinson used the alleged incident to claim “lots of Muslim gangs are beating up white English kids” in Britain. One of the photos used by the English Defence League founder as supposed proof of violence at the same school was stolen from a 2017 news article on a teenage cancer patient from Surrey.

Tasnime Akunjee, who represents the attacked boy and his family, told The Independent his client “had nothing to do with the attack [on the girl] at all”. “These are clearly defamatory comments made by Tommy so we’re pursuing that,” he added. “We will be communicating with Robinson and we will be taking legal action.”

Right from the get go there's been something odd about the coverage.

It's not even that bad and literally nothing to suggest it's racially motivated. The assertion that it is and no attempt to discover what went on before suggests an agenda.

1.I'm not angry it's got publicity, I'm baffled. Everyone knows bailey McLaren but nobody knows Charlene Downes or Kris Donald.

2. Literally don't get the implied criticism. Shouldn't we all be doing that? Are you scared you might find something that scupper your outrage?

3. The reason was clear. No gofundme pages for the rape victims. Jeremy Vine wasn't fuming and threatening to reveal the names and addresses of the rapists.
Even on here the vitriol is directed towards those that wanted to expose the rapists rather than the rapists themselves.
That's a double standard nobody has been able to explain.

I see robinson has apologised now for what he said yesterday , that the story he was perpetuating was lies. I say apologise he sort of laughed and made a joke about it , so no hidden agenda it was it seems exactly as it looked.

As for this post I didn’t see it because it’d been edited after the conversation had moved on .

Secondly you’re angry an event that happened a couple of days ago is higher profile than something that happened 14-15 years ago ? Both the cases you mention I’m aware of and they’re both horrific , I don’t see the connection to this other than one is what I’d consider a racist murder and one an unsolved disappearance almost certainly a murder that involves grooming like we’ve seen made more high profile recently . Charlene downes case is horrendous and complete social service and police ineptitude and like I say I’m aware of it , it’s a deeply uncomfortable case and I’d suggest grooming would be involved in her disappearance, it was certainly involved in her life . The dysfunction family nature and paedophilic family friend who social service warned the family to keep away might also have been involved frankly I don’t know enough. honest have no idea who did it but I do know the case presented to the court was kebab shop owners and a horrific murder and body disposal. Obviously they were acquitted but I’m not dismissing that just saying I don’t know what happened.

My point again is though I don’t understand the connection between a bully and two murders, one unsolved and one solved. Frankly all I can see is race and the fact that The second two are cause celebre for the right , it all starts to look a bit distasteful mate.

Cause celebre? Yes the murder of two kids is just a cause celebre for right wing nutjob but people jumping all over two kids having a minor scuffle is just dandy. Have a word mate, that's a bit odd.
