I've posted this before but obtaining bathing water status isn't done because you necessarily have achieved cleanliness. Certainly in the case of the upper wharfe it was applied for by local residents as once you have bathing water status the environmental agency are legally obligated to test the waters at a certain frequency.

In short it was applied because they wanted farmers and Yorkshire water held to account, which wasn't happening.

The man is a cretinous backstabber of the highest order. A judge called him a liar and even his family business threw him out and out of the company owned house. He knows that he is out of a job the first chance an election comes around as no one will vote for him under the Reclaim banner and only a very few would have done under the Conservative banner. It will be good to rid Parliament of this guy……

My chosen candidate is a guy called Andrew Bridgen, for North West Leicestershire. He has been absolutely consistent in what he stood for and what he supported, and was sent to Parliament to do his voters bidding. None of that ‘I know better ‘ crap espoused by other MP’s. He just does what it says on the tin......he helps the less well off by helping his area to be prosperous....perhaps you could ask Labour MP’s what they do apart from keeping their voters in poverty.....
