Thats exactly what I disagree with.

You call it crap, I call it a poor game by almost a complete B side.

You take the good times with them last season, and you keep your rational head on and show some patience in the bad times.

Another trophy gone, though.

I've seen so many spineless cup defeats it is kind of getting me down in the way league defeats don't.

We don't win a trophy this year (and honestly, we probably won't) and I for one will be thinking, what if we played a better side at swansea, you know.

I'm vocal in my pain at seeing Osman during league matches, but to be fair today was the ideal situation to bring him into. Cup match, down by two. He can't do much but he can still pass forward which is what we needed. Didn't work out.

So at this point, PL teams have figured out that Everton can be beat by parking the bus and counter attacking. It's on RM to adjust for that. No Mirallas/Naisy for the lion's share of the last two matches have really hurt us.

It should be Stones/Jags at CB going forward. I hope the scouts are looking at solid RBs for January. Adding a strong RB for cover will strengthen RB and CB at the same time since it'll let Stones stick where he's best.
Barca can be beat by parking the bus and counter attacking.

Frankly I'm surprised it has taken teams this long to figure it out.

We just don't take enough chances in possession and as a result teams have no incentive to even want to try and win the ball high up the pitch.

is that really what roberto has said ???

my god thats just jaw droppingly naive and offensive imo to a club our size , with that squad and following such a terrible performance.
roberto mate , you better wise up and smell the coffee.

Agreed. Neville was rightly blasted for his stupid 'top ten is great for Everton' comment. Roberto has spoken in the past about winning leagues and bringing success back, and then says that absolute garbage post match tonight. The fans rightly praise the side when they are giving their all, at the moment they look lethargic and uninterested. Very worried tbh.

It's only league cup, our 2nd 11 out there but I'm still worried for what this season holds, had my hopes up for this season but 2 spankings next 2 games and its over, and with our defence that could well happen.

Just watch Swansea's last goal again out so called right back Hibbo was not even in the replay where was this wally???? Gibson gave the ball away in the most casual way not impressed by those two tonight Gibson looks past it just as much as Hibbo!
Reluctantly, I have to agree with your 'Hibbo's past it' assessment. I say reluctantly, because I was so excited to finally get an opportunity to see what all the hype over Hibbo (on this site) was all about. To many, he is a Blues legend, up there with Alan Ball, Sharpie, Sheedy et al. I must confess, after that game tonight, I cannot fathom how he has attained that status for so many here on GOT. Perhaps I am being unfair and he was dynamic in his earlier playing days. But, and this will REALLY upset some people, I consider Coleman a better RB.

Some of the stuff on here tonight is pitiful.

We were rubbish. Full stop. Our defending all season has been poor, but it's been individual errors from normally good defenders. Calling for the manager to be sacked, or crying about relegation is just pathetic.
Only thing I can agree with at the minute is that the manager is talking bollocks....but I'm sure behind closed doors it's different.
And, ITS GOT F ALL TO DO wITH WIGAN.
