haha

is that the first "disgraceful" of the night?

brilliant... :O

They are disgraceful comments. I'm not asking him to proper lay in to the team, but at least expressing disappointment would be a good thing, otherwise he just comes across as a deluded moron who will say happy things no matter what is in front of him. Like one of the mormons from South Park.

To completely ignore how bad we were tonight is to take the piss out the fans who saw it with their own eyes. In short, the man is lying to himself and the people who pay his wages.

If you think THAT tonight doesn't deserve a roasting from us FANS then you are seriously deluded.

Thats all i will say on this post. I will swerve your comment about me being a 'crap fan' you melt.

Thats a completely rotated side. 7 changes. 4 players who have barely played in the last year.

Fine if you are unhappy with Bobbys decision not to prioritise the cup, but I don't see the point or merit of a ROASTING from the fans on an average performance in the league cup with that team.

no patience

I'm vocal in my pain at seeing Osman during league matches, but to be fair today was the ideal situation to bring him into. Cup match, down by two. He can't do much but he can still pass forward which is what we needed. Didn't work out.

So at this point, PL teams have figured out that Everton can be beat by parking the bus and counter attacking. It's on RM to adjust for that. No Mirallas/Naisy for the lion's share of the last two matches have really hurt us.

It should be Stones/Jags at CB going forward. I hope the scouts are looking at solid RBs for January. Adding a strong RB for cover will strengthen RB and CB at the same time since it'll let Stones stick where he's best.

Who cares what a manager says in interviews?

Martinez' whole media image has always been to be really positive in public whatever the results. It just doesn't matter.

Judging managers on their words and not their results is what we mock kopites for.

Because it means we can't take a word he says seriously. He loses respect. Every post match interview may as well be a pre-recorded soundbyte regardless of what happens on the pitch.

The difference between us and Kopites is that we expect a manager to be honest - not just drivel out some positive nonsense that doesn't correspond with what happens in the game.

thats got to be one of the poorest preformances for a long time, i know we had a lot of changes, but there was no organisation at all , no shape , not tempo and no bottle or passion, the teams becomming as laid back as martinez, the next month is going to be important for martinez, more bad results and there will be calls to get shut. team for the derby

okay Tubey, you are just losing the run of yourself now.

Its a post match interview. It means nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I'd be worried for fans that are that sensitive that they need to hear exactly what they think should be said after a game, to make them feel better and comforted that things will get better :)
