That was garbage, this season has been a shambles defensively and we look short of confidence at the back.

Tonight wasn't as big a shock as it would have been a few weeks ago but is still a massive kick in the ball bag.

Having said that some of the reactions in this thread are embarrassing and would look out of place on RAWK they're that bad.

Take a long look at yourselves, we're not kopites so stop acting like we are.

Forza Everton

Howard 6 - Could not do much about the goals. He made two or three good saves.

Hibbert 2 - Just retire ffs. Whenever he walks and runs, the pace is the same. And he can no longer defend.
Alcaraz 6 - Was alright.
Distin 4 - Lost all his confidence. Dustbin.
Garbutt 6 - I think he was alright actually. He will make it here.

Besic 5.5 - Tried hard and his passing is okay.
Gibson 4 - Anonymous. He was the one who gave the ball away before the third goal.

Atsu 4.5 - A pacy Gueye. His decision making is pretty awful.
McGeady 5 - Frustrating to watch. No end product and he was like playing on his own. No teamwork whatsoever.
Oviedo 5 - Not match fit.

Eto'o 4.5 - Don't think he is suited to play as a loan striker.

Subs: Lukaku 5; McCarthy 5 what happen to him?; Osman 4.

When the attacker cuts inside hibbert he's clueless, Montero had him sussed from minute one.How Martinez couldn't see it is beyond me, the man was a liability all game.

How ironic if moyes has the last laugh over the fans. Sad thing is yes he was dour at times but he was never given the chance with the sort of money martinez has had. Would like to have seen what he done had he had the cash for your negredo's, moutinho's etc.

I still like bobby but I feared when he joined we got him solely based of his FA cup win totally ignoring his years of poor defences at wigan and their eventual relegation. I fear his inability at tackling defensive issues could drag us into mid table where keeping the likes of mirallas, barkley, coleman and Rom highly unlikely, depressing.
Moyes has done a deal with the devil considering both us and Utd.

Whilst that was frustrating; whilst I am absolutely gutted, we need to keep the faith and have some long term perspective.

There are a few people we're mudslinging with - me as well, admittedly - who can easily do a job for us on the day.

They're having a poor start, but we're Evertonians and we don't drill lads into the ground.

Let's just keep heads up.

I don't want to come across like I'm knee jerking and saying sack him because I'm really not. My biggest worry is he doesn't seem to be learning at all, his defence was always the big issue at Wigan and now we look to be replicating them. We're conceding 3 goals a game and with Liverpool and Man Utd away next I don't see it stopping.

7 games, though. I mean even at christmas that's 20 games.

At christmas, say we're still playing as we currently are, scoring goals but conceding. Beating your west broms, losing to your chelseas, about 15th in the table (which 2 years ago was where we always were at christmas).

Martinez and everton are good at late season charges, we could still go on to win the double at that point.

It's far too early to bring up even the possibilty of sacking but even in your hypothetical where we don't turn things around in the next couple of months, and I think we will, he should get the entire year and the start of next on the basis of last year.

It's pathetic as it is always pathetic when fans can't handle a poor patch, cant accept that sometimes the players and manager will have bad times. People boo at matches saying I paid so I don't have to put up with that. Put up with what??? You pay to watch your football team. Sometimes they will be a bit crap. Sometimes they will be crap for a long time. Thats football. Big bloody deal, try supporting a team bottom of the conference.

The worst type of fan get all giddy and full of BS as soon as a good run comes, shouting louder than everybody else and claiming decent players are the best in the league. They then have a huge hissyfit when some bad results/performances come along, and run to their computers to [Poor language removed] the whole thing off.

We may well lose both those games, and it will be awful. We may well even be bottom of the league after it. BUt christ we hired a manager who gave us our best ever Prem league points total and gave us some good football. What kind of a crap fan are you if you go flying off the edge as soon as some bad times come.

Supporters. We are called that for a reason.
If you think THAT tonight doesn't deserve a roasting from us FANS then you are seriously deluded.

Thats all i will say on this post. I will swerve your comment about me being a 'crap fan' you melt.
