I don't know what to say. The negatives are clear as day. Poor team selection, no plan B, poor subs. One thing I don't think that's been mentioned is the lack of support given to Lukaku. He's left completely on his own. The 3 attacking midfielders all just seem to cut in the centre, dribble a bit, step inside the box then look up to play dinky little one-twos through 5 opposing players. Eto'o was practically playing as #10 just to get on the ball.

Not good enough from players and the manager. Only positives that can be taken from this are Gibbo, Oveido, Garbutt, Astu, and Besic got game time. Oh and for once Alcaraz wasn't the one pressing the self-destruct button.

but it is all three. it is uncharacteristic as we had the third best defence last season, obviously the defending isnt good enough and it does need sorting. i dont see why you need to hear him say that in an interview??

Last season was last season.....how long are you giving it before it actually becomes characteristic?

Defending starts from the front. They had 2 or 3 players closing down the whole of our back 4 and our holding mid's. We have lukaku jogging around atsu and mc geady doing a little bit more but not much, a couple of good passes and they are instantly at our back four in numbers. If We are putting the ball in the box with lukaku marked by 3 defenders on his own. Every evertonian knows how to play against us so do you think the oppo managers don't. Liverpool on Saturday will be interesting because teams have sussed out Liverpool, push up on their back line but let the centre half's have it and their passing game collapses, if Martinez just has lukaku jogging around on his own up there Saturday, then Martinez is in trouble.

I said from the start of this season that we would be a top 5 team and I stand by that, the Southampton loss was only because we had 10 men for the majority of the game and we outplayed Chelsea for large parts of that match too. Today we have outclassed your very own team who took 5th last season. Are you worried though? That was a very easy victory for us, perhaps the most one sided we've had this season.

Every shot on goal has been registering as a goal. The opening 20 minutes against palace we had 85% possession and were winning 1-0 and then............ what ??!! what happened ? Why ? We've just lost at home to a winless Palace side and have been beaten by a Swansea side 3-0 in the space of 48 hours.

How is the reaction on here ' pathetic ' ? I think its a little justified to be honest, don't you. If you're seriously not worried (with the RS and Utd coming up) after watching these last two games and the way we are defending, then................ well.

It's pathetic as it is always pathetic when fans can't handle a poor patch, cant accept that sometimes the players and manager will have bad times. People boo at matches saying I paid so I don't have to put up with that. Put up with what??? You pay to watch your football team. Sometimes they will be a bit crap. Sometimes they will be crap for a long time. Thats football. Big bloody deal, try supporting a team bottom of the conference.

The worst type of fan get all giddy and full of BS as soon as a good run comes, shouting louder than everybody else and claiming decent players are the best in the league. They then have a huge hissyfit when some bad results/performances come along, and run to their computers to slag the whole thing off.

We may well lose both those games, and it will be awful. We may well even be bottom of the league after it. BUt christ we hired a manager who gave us our best ever Prem league points total and gave us some good football. What kind of a crap fan are you if you go flying off the edge as soon as some bad times come.
