Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

Can you coach a set piece?
Can you explain the role of a FB?
Can you gaslight fans, and lower standards and expectations?
Can you ostracize and demean the squad outside your preferred underperforming favourites?
Passing drills or progressive plays how do other clubs get them wrong?
Substitutions, before or after conceding the game?

We will get a new manager who may or may not do OK but ultimately we are not one of the accepted big clubs and therefore nothing really matters does it.

Might win a league cup or FA cup if the stars align one year, but TBH it’s a struggle to be arsed. Best case scenario - you get well managed for 5 years like Villa - get a few seasons in Europe, likely win nothing, can’t keep spending, lose best players and manager, and back to mid table or relegation scraps.

Dont disagree really, but makes it all the more frustrating when we throw out weakened squads for said competitions.

I cant be bothered myself. But I just dont see how treading water is positive for the club. The club need to get fans on board fast, because its as toxic as I can ever recall.

The next appointment is huge for the club and the success starved fanbase.

…..40 points in February is some improvement, surely a contract extension has to be on the table.

Good win but doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t know. He is the master of KITAP1 away from home. He needs to be winning more home games, introducing some identity & developing the squad before I would give him any more money or time
