so, what do we do on Saturday?

Attack attack attack attack attack, then control possession with a 2 goal lead.
Actually win would be nice but I am mostly interested in seeing a no fear attacking attitude than anything else.

tough cheese

Heard that Gibson was absolutely furious that he didn't play last night, he was probably rested as Barry can't play this weekend.

Gibson has been a semi-permanent sick note...he hardly has any right to be furious about the playing roster...you snooze, you lose.
In fact, given Gibbo's propensity for injury, you might say that he hasn't got an uninjured leg to stand on

same team that started on monday but gibson in for ineligible barry

play the way the way we play. take it to them

City thread not up yet. But...

How should we approach Saturday? Do we just swap out Barry for Gibbo and go for it and get City on the back foot knowing we could get bum-r@ped on the break, or do we try and be more measured. To be honest, I'd rather put Deulofeu in for Barry and just try and hit them. Another option is to bring in Stones/Johnny and go 3 at the back

You sure its a Saturday game? with Citah playin in Europe weds.

He's started just about every game he's been fit for since he came here. Not surprised if he was furious to not even make the bench.

Keep it solid but not defensive. I wasn't impressed with Gibson against Fulham so I don't know, not sure if this is the game to put him in. If Barkley had a little more experience I'd like for him to have a go centre mid alongside McCarthy but not so sure on his defensive/positional nous and he has been excellent in the hole. It's a difficult one.

I think we might have to give Heitinga a go in def mid. If not, then Barkley & McCarthy CM with Osman in front. Mirallas & Pienaar either wing.
