so, what do we do on Saturday?

but even if they won 5-0 tonight Dave they would have come roaring out. Win, lose or draw is irrelevant, they are decent at home but they can be beaten and if we play to our potential and stay disciplined we can walk away with a positive result Saturday, whether that be a draw or a win I don't know. We've certainly gone there with ****ter sides and won previous and we now have match winners and impact sub players. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say 2-1 to us!

Look no further than what we did to Citeh the next game after the Wigan debacle in March.

Apart from match fitness, not to worried about swapping Gibson playing in Barry's place.

He was one of our most important players last season, he was good in pre-season under Martinez, and he likes to play well against City.

We'll try to win the ball just in front of the D outside our penalty area and release Mirallas and Barkley to run straight at their centre backs. Romelu will cause confusion by blocking out the sun and Barks will dribble the ball into an empty net.

There is a reason why City are below us in the league, it is because they are crap!

This is a game where we could have done with someone like Joey Barton to kick the **** out of their midfielders, but hopefully Gibbo can come in and crunch a few of them instead.

We should hope they persist with two in midfield. If that happens then Barkley really needs to influence the game.

I'd make sure Lukaku wasn't up against Kompany, get him playing off the other (weaker) centre half.

Make ourselves hard to play against when we haven't got the ball. I wouldn't mind if we came out with a cautious approach then grew into the game. We don't want to be on the receiving end of a backlash and find ourselves a couple down inside the first 20 minutes.

That won't happen. We're boss in the first half apparently. It's the second 45 I'd be worried about.

Could actually see that happening. People shouldn't be under any illusion that this is an unbelievably difficult game. If we do get in front I hope Deulofeu's on the pitch for the last half an hour to exploit them on the counter.

I know what you mean regarding the last 2 games, yet against West Ham we were gash in the first half and superb in the 2nd (Lukaku) might have had something to do with that.

I think Lukaku had everything to do with that. We're a different team when he's on the pitch.
