so, what do we do on Saturday?

There is a reason why City are below us in the league, it is because they are crap!

This is a game where we could have done with someone like Joey Barton to kick the **** out of their midfielders, but hopefully Gibbo can come in and crunch a few of them instead.

....with his glass legs I can see a season ending sick note here

Pienaar for Barry could be the only change. Possibly Gibson for McCarthy. I predict a 2-0 defeat, but hope's a devilish thing, it tells me that if we defend well we might have half a chance of getting something from the game. I suspect we're going to see a lot of Deulofeu coming on from the bench as an impact sub, and I hope he gets a good run on Saturday because he has a rare pace and ability on the ball that can terrorise even the best defenders.

Some interesting lines converging in this game. Last year under lights in a Cup game we got pantsed. Next game at home? : Man City.

This year...Man City is mullered in a Cup game under lights at home. Next home game?: Everton

And to add to the intrigue, the gentleman who plotted both City's and EFC's FA Cup demise at the hands of a totally different team is involved again!!!

Awesome script!!

....and this from the Man City blog:

Ducado wrote:Big game against one our bogey teams and after that disaster we better pull our collective socks up, or the pressure will really begin to mount

They are unbeaten up to now, and Martinez has got them playing some good football

All thoughts and discussion in here please

12:45 KO by the way

Just what we bloody need, bleeding Everton

This will be such a tough game. Everton is an excellent team, absolutely excellent. I am afraid we may lose this one.

You know times have changed when you have man city fans referring to Everton as their 'bogey team'.

They are right, seeings how much things have changed for them in the last 3 or 4 years but bloody hell it it still sounds ridiculous. Fair play, I'd be made up if Everton got taken over and we started dickig everyone but I'd be bloody embarrassed of it happened and we started calling sides clubs like arsenal or villa or spurs etc 'bogey teams'.

Fulham are our bogey team!!

As for City we got nothing to fear in this one, that clown they got in goal is just what we need, cant wait!

The only time they've beaten us at their place since their takeover and they won the league. I'd say we're pretty relevant to their success. Bogey team indeed

Try and get after them as early as we can and turn their crowd against them.

Worrying about what they can do is irrelevant. They've got enough about them to do anyone when they're up for it.

They should have been up for it all season though.

Never be a better time to play them IMO.

Reckon Bob will be thinking of having our players roaring out.
