" Told Ya' he wouldn't come back !!! - He DID last week ; ...She's STILL ON HIS CASE ...."

Vero .

Take it / Leave it as you will ,....

Thanks bud. To use a technical term, she's beyond gross. And lovely post astro.

God. I'm not looking forward to when this story finally breaks. Gonna suck for the USMNT and him too. Sigh.

Had my Donovan away kit in the cart (IMO only way to make the pink kit ace), and was ready to celebrate. Such is life. Lando made his decision and from this point move on. Mick said it best, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you might find, you get what you need. I have freely admitted that I had never watched Everton before Landon came over on loan. As a result, I now "Know my History" and when I hear ZCars, and see Blues shirts walking out on the pitch, I get goose bumps. So Landon is not coming. Is it a drag? Yes. Although I have to say that I find the situation is not quite so dire when I put positive and negative apart and compare. Before the loan I had no idea who the best little spaniard was, no clue who "Boss" Baines was, or Cahill, Rodwell, or Feli, or Jags, no idea that if we feed the Yak he will score(Is that still true? jk). Also I had no idea who LCAB, TXBill, Chico, Muggins, Matt Damon(well I knew him from elsewhere), Dutch Toffee, and all the other class acts who post here were. As for jh14, disbelieve the oracle at your own peril. LCAB gives us the best up to date info as possible, and as with all things in life, the situation is fluid and ever changing. So what may look promising one day, could be crap the next. So in closing, we lost a loan, but I gained so much freaking more. Lando brought me to be an Everton fan, and that doesn't change, even if he never comes back. I came for Landon, but stayed for Everton. All that matters is that at the end of the day we are better, win or lose, because we are Everton, and they are not. We are quality without an inflated price tag, we are of a fighting spirit that everyone else wishes they had. So I didn't get what I wanted(Lando), but I got what I needed(EVERTON). COYB!

So , THIS , from Fly-Boy , btw ....

I'm with the people who aren't too bothered. He would have added something extra, but let's not run away with ourselves - he isn't irreplaceable.

Get Eagles in.

Jagielka being out for a month is the big news, not this.

I think...on a wider scale, i'm more dissapointed we can't even attract a loan player. Whatever the reasons, is a bit dissapointing.

Hear you, but you'll notice a lot of the folks that are the most upset are the Americans. It's Everton and beyond and big news for us in particular.

I understand that. Sad day for US blues.

Maybe we'll get Stuart Holden, as per LCAB's wishes?! (y)

Oh my goodness LCAB...

You mean in January we'll be dealing with:
Tim temporarily gone
Jags injured
Peanuts gone
Heitinga gone
Vaughn gone? Yobo gone? Saha gone?
Arteta god knows what is going on with his form

*cringe*

This is starting to freak me out. Seamus: EAT YOUR WHEATIES.

I hadn't been getting my hopes up either, so i'll shrug it off. Sad though, but then again, the positive is we might now have room to bring in someone else who is awesome in january.

I like the mention of Chris Eagles, he's a real out-and-out-winger type. And another Man U. reject, he won't get promoted with Burnley this year anyway, might be hungry to play real PL football.
And while we talk americans: How about Jozy Altidore? Sick pace on the kid, had a good world cup too!
Americans, 2: Oguchi Onyewu, surplus to requirements at AC Milan, real athletic, young centre back who could probably double at rightback? Also played a decent lot at the WC.
Pablo Piatti: Previously rumoured, argentinian wonderkid winger/striker. Yes please.
Struggling/cheap Premier League strikers: Carew, Santa Cruz, Bendtner, Elmander, Doyle, etc?
Previously rumoured, interesting targets: Jarvis, Djalo, Chucho Rodriguez, Alessandro Matri, Kranjcar, etc.

I dunno. Time to close this thread and spend our attention on somebody else.
