Sir Landon Of Donovan

I read the posts last night, had a whole day at work and come home to the forum..and still, I feel empty.

I just get this feeling that whoever Everton announce as a loan player in January, no matter who it is, my initial reaction is just gonna be 'meh' :( 'Cos to go from such a high for the last few months, quite literally counting down the days til his arrival and my brand new shiny Donovan #9 Vanilla shirt, Everything and anyone else is going to feel... meh :(

" With less than half an hour remaining of the January transfer window being open, Sky Sports News can report some breaking news from Goodison Park that Everton are closing in Titus Bramble and 38 year old ex- Motherwell goal keeper Wee Jackie McSporran"
:(

I am depressed.

"Many Everton fans have taken to the messageboards to express their dashed hopes. Some thought he would once again swoop in to ignite their stuttering seasons just after they built a bit of momentum with a 2-1 win over Man City."

Don't think the link came through but read the Yahoo! article and it links to this thread about "our dashed hopes".

D/D - hope you're getting some sort of royalty or something for this...

GOT - the heartbeat of Evertonia.

They dont have to pay to link. It's fair use - as its NEWS reporting.

But... it classes GOT as a respected Everton NEWS source. Quite right too.

Well in D/D. Well in GOT. WE ARE EVERTON.

Come home Landon.

Like I said. It's like ya birds stuck other side of the world... wanting to come home to you but can't. We're writing love letters to each other, but are separated by a wide ocean... FOR THE MOMENT.

THAT is how it feels.

Just consider this people : The Gaffer ain't too pleased with good old Landy !! When Moyes gets pissed off its normally end of relationship ! I wouldn't be surprised if that's it for Landon after this charade !

Meaning he essentially told Moyes he was coming back and Moyes made plans based on that promise and then backed out?

You think Landy knew of the Price the MLS was asking... and just said I am tired knowing that we are skint and the MLS were trying to ask too much money? This was the best way to save face for everyone. MLS, Everton and LD. Who looks bad in this no deal? the way it worked out no one....

Deary me. They need a good boot in the bollix: standing there in tears hugging each other cos we got three points. I'd hate to see that lot in a crisis.

Surely Moyes has learnt by now not to trust peoples words no matter who they are.

He must have back up plans in place.

Sure he's right to be pissed off if Landon promised he would come back but now isn't but he should of been preparing for him to change his mind.

Hopefully.

392 page thread over an average player with a bit of pace. Talk about obsessive!

He's not coming back so i hope blues stop banging on about him like he's somekind of saviour.
