Let me be clear: I think LD should be playing in the Premiere League. However, everything since World Cup suggests that the MLS want him as their poster boy, he's an American hero now, and it's their prerogative to sell. Don't you think Donovan would've accepted the trade to Everton when Moyes made an offer in August if he'd been able? MLS rejected it. They aren't going to let him go permanently.
