Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

Why do we look like a joke? Seriously?

Some one who has won ZERO titles happens to get one of the biggest jobs in world football. And don't start with the" he already got the biggest job when he signed for us" as it just sounds like Kopites saying they compete with Barcelona etc - fact is, we and they don't.

Small time would be him going to Sunderland or QPR because they got money to spend making us look like the cheap bin raiders we are in the modern game fuelled by finance.

Moyes goes to United. Who's Moyes? They Google him, the Google us, they see our history. Any manager who wants a job goes "wow, if I do really well there, I will get noticed. It's a tough job, but I'm good enough to do it"

Instead of us being a plucky team without a pot to piss in against the money rich sides - which is what the world thinks of us if any of was interested in football - they'll now see us as a club with merit, with history, with a good team that has to have done something right for its long term manager to go to the global brand that is United.

Fact is, if you thought Everton was on the tips of people's tongues before this. It wasn't. And sadly, him going to United has.

Hard to deal with but that's the truth.

Think you have missed the point completely mate. The people who don't want him as manager for the last 2 games are not bitter that he has left (I personally hated watching are negative football and bottling of big matches so I'm not too worried he left).

I want him at Goodison on Sunday so he can come out and get a round of applause for the decent job he done under the circumstances. But to manage Everton during these last 2 games when his interests are, quite understandably, elsewhere is ridiculous

I dont think he should be in charge, but i think he has bottle doing it - considering the reaction he may receive from a few. But we are Everton and having a manager who has decided to leave and chose another club over us - to have him in charge is demaning and stinks of small time - im a huge Moyes fan - but this is about Everton.

Whilst I still reckon Moyes should be in the office ensuring all intellectual property is transfered to his employers, and giving Round a shot to see what he can do--there's going to be a lot of pressure on Moves from the media circus watching how he performs in these games.

I'll probably be wrong like, but I can see Bainesy telling Moves to gtf if he tries to poach him. This is based only on body language and goat liver like.

Is there a set of circumstances where we can stop Chelsea getting in the CL next season? It would be ironic if DMs first act as Utd manager is actually to get everton to beat Chelsea!!

No, but everyone has known for months that he's going. Is there any real difference in practical terms? He's just seeing out his contract. I wonder what RM fans are saying online

Edit. I'm talking about Mourinho.

And that wouldd mean something to this debate IF Mourinho was all. Set to be a manager of Barcelona next season. I could add in maybe Athletico or Malaga or such like. All Madrid fans know is that he is probably going to be off. Maybe Chelsea maybe not - but nothing is done and dusted.

The probelm with Moyes is he is going to a rival. And he's staying on looking after our players when he is already committed to them.

It has never happened before in football so the idea that some fans shouldn't be up in arms about it is ridiculous.

If Mancini announced he'd signed a deal with Chelsea do you think he'd be allowed to carry on? Sure he's not been there as long as Moyes but he's won them a first trophy in half a century or something.

Or Wenger to City?

I am not having a pop at Moyes' 11 years. It's just the way this is being managed.

Of course that's a scenario and the very idea you're talking about it (and the media will the same) shows how wrong this is.

This is boring now, you are repeating yourself. You're acting like an insane forum poster who wont let anyone have their own opinion. We are entitled to what we believe, just like you are. But cant you just give it a rest and share your wonderful thought on other threads such as our replacement.

Let's assume that Mourinho will manage another club next season. OK? A reasonable assumption, I think.

In that circumstance, isn't it possible for him to, say, tap up Real players? I could suggest other areas in which he could undermine affairs at RM but I don't need to. The fact is that given that he is leaving and is still managing at RM is not
any different from Moyes staying on for the last two matches. It is probably open to even more manipulation than Moyes
could engineer if that was his intention.

United have already won the League, so im not sure whats being conflicted here, its not like Everton losing their last 2 games would help United.

Some of the arguements for him not being there tomorrow are quite laughable.

Thankfully he will get the applause he deserves tomorrow.

In Moyes We Trusted.
