Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

You're on a wind-up here aren't you?

This saga with Moyes staying on is laughable to any football fan. Because it has never happened before. We look like a joke - never mind the serious implications of him taking his eye off the ball for two important games or tapping up our staff and players.

I don't buy this "no publicity is bad publicity".

We're being primed as a United feeder club. Whilst that might actually be the case at the current time in brutal reality - it stinks to high heaven and should not be publicly tolerated.

Nine league titles. Take a look around Goodison and read the records.
No one in the media is saying we're a joke, just a gang of everton fans on the forums. Always something to moan about.

Honestly? No. That annoys me but I have the board and Moyes equally for that. Kenwright should have been tough with him last summer.

This whole thing for me is the principle of what he's doing now by staying on for the last two games.

And lets be in no doubts why it's happening. It is being done solely to give that red nose tw*t a big send-off at Old Trafford on Sunday. If Moyes had done the decent thing and quit our club he'd be hanging about somewhere for their game at OT. That would take a bit of edge off Fergie.

Erm, a Fergie conspiracy. Now where have I heard that before?

I'll be going to the game on Sunday now, I was originally due to work, but have changed my week-end shifts around. I'll be applauding him for the service he gave to our club.

I respect others opinions, and I have no problem with giving him a send off, but I don't think he should be in charge of the final two games when he has committed his future elsewhere.

It doesn't matter what team, it's small time behaviour.

I suppose this thread is a moot point really, as the decision has already been made. But I'm not happy with it.

Indeed, no one could ever understand a term if they made a spelling mistake when typing it. I'll add that to my list of logical arguments I learnt from the internet.

Okay joking aside you just don't get the insult bit do you?

When I'm inside Goodison I suspend reality, close my eyes and remember the glory days. I can forget ten losses in a second but remember the day recently when we battered the Mancs or Andy Johnson's 3-0 against the RS. Further to that I remember Joe Royle's Dogs of War team and their spirit that year in winning the cup. As a youngster my dad would take me to watch Howard Kendall lead out the best side in the world.

In this sh*tty world of TV millions my memories and dreams are what keep me going to Goodison. That pitch, that stand, that dugout are sacred. Once a man accepts another club's gold coin then he'd dead to me and should not ever be seen in that inner sanctum.

By the way, in case, you're not familiar the postcode for your SatNav is L4 4EL.

Why do we look like a joke? Seriously?

Some one who has won ZERO titles happens to get one of the biggest jobs in world football. And don't start with the" he already got the biggest job when he signed for us" as it just sounds like Kopites saying they compete with Barcelona etc - fact is, we and they don't.

Small time would be him going to Sunderland or QPR because they got money to spend making us look like the cheap bin raiders we are in the modern game fuelled by finance.

Moyes goes to United. Who's Moyes? They Google him, the Google us, they see our history. Any manager who wants a job goes "wow, if I do really well there, I will get noticed. It's a tough job, but I'm good enough to do it"

Instead of us being a plucky team without a pot to piss in against the money rich sides - which is what the world thinks of us if any of was interested in football - they'll now see us as a club with merit, with history, with a good team that has to have done something right for its long term manager to go to the global brand that is United.

Fact is, if you thought Everton was on the tips of people's tongues before this. It wasn't. And sadly, him going to United has.

Hard to deal with but that's the truth.

Sorry but no traditional football fan could ever have written that. No offence. The club needs fans of all persuasions but you clearly are not ingrained in it.

I'll say it simply - I couldn't give a sh*t about a manager that wants our job so he can "get noticed". We are Everton.

Jesus wept. So we give someone a chance for 11 years just so he can be deemed worthy to try out for a global brand one day? Is that our role?

You can stick your Google Hits counter up your arse! All I care about is the club I love being left with an ounce of dignity. We are Everton. Nine league titles.

I am totally disgusted by some of the antics going on around our club right now.

1st of all i'll have to say im beyond happy Moyes has gone. Any one who knows me, knows iv wanted rid of him for 4/5 seasons now. He'd done a great job, but his philosophy and tactic are really poor. i see 80% of our games live so i know what im going on about.1st of all i cant believe the way we've let that ginger lying prick **** on us like this. 4 years ago, he hung Steven Pienaar out to dry with the fans over his contract. Pienaar was boo'd for his last few games even thou he'd made it clear he was leaving to try and play champions league football if he could get it. He honered his contract and done nothing wrong in my eyes. Non of this, we'll see by the end of the season ****e!! He also done the same with Lescott, Moyes ****in knew what he was doing....Because he wouldn't sign a contract we get **** all for him now. what a horrible ****. But he sits in that press conference today putting on a show about how he was going to sign for us. **** OFF!!!

Don't tell me a club like UTD an a man like SAF just gets up one day decides to retire and bring someone else in. There far to savvie for that. He's fukking known for months, gave the board the ultimatum over Jan knowing we didn't have the money and it was his way out....

And on UTD, how long are we going to let them pick an ****in choose who and what they want to take from our club....****in embarresing!!!!!

So now to my point......After all this has happened, to let that ginger prick sit on out bench last two games is a kick in the nuts.......

Rafael was right..SMALL CLUB!!!After the way he's treated us, are you going to clap him...?he should be moved a side right now, put big dunc in charge last few games at least the fans will be on board.

I for one will be leaving early on Sunday, no ****ing way im clapping that **** goodby.

Eh?

Try Bayern, Barca and Real Madrid to name three.

Heyncke is retiring, not going to another club. Pep had been on sabbatical for a year before the Bayern deal was made, and we still don't know for sure where Mourinho will go.

This Dell Boy lad is very aggressive about his viewpoint which makes the whole thing seem childish, but I agree with him. Realistically we probably won't finish ahead of Manchester United any time soon, but they're still a rival, and we shouldn't have a manager who's already made statements on another club's official site at the helm of our team.

I don't think it would be right to boo Moyes after everything he's done for this club. But I am very disappointed that Moyes and Kenwright are putting the fans in this position. He's making the remainder of the season about him, when it should be about the club.
