I'm the exact same mate. I am normally tempered when it comes to all thinks Everton. Don't get me wrong I love this great football club, but I rarely let it get at me as much as this does currently. I am fuming and cannot stop grinding my teeth at the way some fans and the board think that Everton FC can be treated as a lapdog to Manchester United. I am grateful to Moyes for all he has done but he's gone. GONE. And that should be reflected in who looks after the team from now on.
If we bear West Ham 12-0 on Sunday, what will people think then?
He has gone now. I dont want him knocking round. And this talk of him having an input in our new manager terrifies me.
No they wouldn't and Moyes hasn't been poached.
What's the difference between say if Moyes was given the United job this week and it not be announced until after the season... But everyone at both clubs knew but the fans?
Would people still fume if they didn't know?
The timing of the announcement was poor, but it's been reported here that it was to arrest a slump in the share market price
of MU following Ferguson's retirement.
I made my feelings known here earlier today, but I don't necessarily want an expression of gratitude to Moyes. What I want
is a 'business as usual' approach on Sunday.
Until the end of the season, Ferguson is still their manager and Moyes is still Everton's manager. Let's remember that.
No thanks.

Call me bitter, petty or what you will but I want someone with Evertons best interests at heart to be in charge of the Everton first team. It astonishes me that you don´t.
The whole thing is alleged to have started after a couple of large bets lumped on moyes that spooked the bookies, snowballed from there, the information was out there prior to the share drop, and the price recovered quickly to a minimal drop any way.The timing of the announcement was poor, but it's been reported here that it was to arrest a slump in the share market price

Funny that that combined figure would almost wipe out Everton's debt, now, I am not suggesting for one minute...Moyes himself said he didnt have a clause in his contract did he? Or that it was higher than what was being bandied about.
Either way if it turns out it is 23m then thats a bit suss. Like he was putting off other teams so he could get him himself.

No thanks.

If the announcement was to steady shares then the reality is Moyes is Man utd's manager. He isn't Everton's anymore, contracts or not, as such he should be relieved of his duities here, if it was the other way around he would be frogmarched out of old trafford
