Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

this is ridiculous. So players who sign pre-contract agreements with other clubs should not play out the rest of the season? We need another win to secure 6th place, and the players are hopefully not going to be half-arsed against west ham. If moyes left immediately, then that i reckon would have a bad impact on the team. Lets just get behind the team, thank moyes for 11 mostly good years and then see what happens

Players dont make the decisions or pick the team.

I think its ridiculous thinking he should stay. I do think its a very black and white case this though with most of our fans.

Manchester United are the biggest club on the planet, good luck to him. We're a big club who will attract a very good manager, Pereira's people being in contact with the club already being an example. Let's give him a standing ovation for the fantastic job he's done and not be bitter about it.

Man Utd are NOT the biggest club in the world. Sick of hearing this bollocks

Well he's contracted to us, and has been dealing with United. He wouldn't have guessed that SAF was retiring and sent his CV in on the off chance of a gig, therefore, poached.

However, if semantics isn't your game, remove poached from my earlier post. Same deal. Execs don't get the opportunity for lengthy farewells.

Two weeks a lengthy farewell? That's a general notice.

Basically, if we're looking at it as a job - he's found a new one and given his notice. Until his notice is up, he's still employed, and he's still got a job to do.

That's right in any job.

As for he "knew" about it. Why did most itks like sheeds and foxy all thought he was eyeing at signing a new deal with Everton after the wigan result because no big enough was interested in him

He should go now and let Round be in charge for next 2 games. To me Moyes is a snide who has put his, Fergusons and Man utds interests before Evertons. Moyes has obviously known about Fergusons decision to retire months ago and even before that has known that he is the chosen one. I appreciate all he has done for Everton but if he had any thoughts for the supporters he would go now

We don't know what his back room staff will be at UTD yet but it will no doubt include some current employees of Everton. We should be protecting our interests here.

Lads grow up to fcuk.moyes has done a fairly descent job at Everton over the years.tim Cahill fcuked off arteta did and many another player before and will after.its one game.show yer class as some of the best fans in the world and clap the fcuker..boo the sh1te out of him next year all you want..

It's all over the media that he is going to come looking to buy Fellani and Baines.

If so, and it most likely is the case, is he going to encourage them to play their usual physical games in the next two weeks and risk possible long term injury?

There is just nothing making sense about this situation.

No one is talking about booing him, he can come on the pitch at half time or whatever but shouldn't be in the dugout

For a senior executive, 20 minutes is a lengthy farewell. Moyes didn't clean the showers you know! ;o)

Sheeds & Foxy were just like the rest of us. Using your analogy about a job, you don't announce you're leaving until you actually get it, not when you first apply. Kenwright suspected it when they stopped planning for next season, and he said nothing. (probably too busy looking under every stone)

Players who sign pre contract agreements dont go on there new clubs website saying it is there dream job etc. The moment David Moyes shook David Gills hand he was Utd's manager. No longer is he watching football with an Everton hat on no matter how long he has left on his contract. I normally accept everyone has an opinion but I just cant for the life of me see why anyone thinks David Moyes should lead Everton out on Sunday. What have we become

Agreed. Whilst he's not endeared himself to all fans, I doubt anyone would question the table stability we've had with him. I think it was the lack of the next step that hasupset people.

I still think he could hand over the reins, take a bow in front of Goodison, and still leave with dignity & respect.

Exactly, if this was Arsenal or even the Spurs boss going to UTD, does anyone seriously think they'd be in the dugout again?

You are all being far too emotional. If you were the manager of (let's say) a branch of Next and you had just agreed to manage Selfridges or Harvey Nicks in Kensington you would work your notice and go after that. Why think this is any different?
