Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

You are all being far too emotional. If you were the manager of (let's say) a branch of Next and you had just agreed to manage Selfridges or Harvey Nicks in Kensington you would work your notice and go after that. Why think this is any different?

Football is emotional mate.

When have you ever heard of this happening before in the PL? i.e. a manager agreeing to leave a club to join a near rival & yet staying on for a period after agreeing to join?

It's madness imo

Ha, I am afraid in a sports result based industry this analogy does not travel too well!

Jesus Christ. Yes the local bod shop manager would possibly be okay to carry on (though not if they thought they'd pinch staff).

BUT if it was the head of retail operations at Next then they'd be politely escorted out of the building the second that notice was handed over. Always. If a decision maker leaves to go to a rival it is absolutely standard practice.

course he should be our manager for the last two games and he deserves a tremendous sent off from the fans hes been a miracle worker for us and only in the next few seasons will we realize just how good he was! players sign pre contract and stil stay last 6 mnths so dont see any different with a manager heres under contract til end of season lets beat west ham and finish above them

He shouldn't be doing the presser either.
Just encouraging the media circus, only interested in mufc.
This is Everton and should b about Everton not some other club from Manchester.
Caretaker manager until the end of the season!!!!

This probably all appeals to Kenwright's sense of the theatrical.

In his world all publicity is good publicity and it matters not a jot if the world's press are at Finch Farn for the press conference to talk about Manchester United just so long as Everton's name and the name of Everton's sponsors appear in the background.

I've got to say I think you're right. Kenwright's only focus now should be Everton. Moyes can get to [Poor language removed].

Everton's manager should be managing Everton.
That is Moyes

It's not that at all. It's far from black and white.

Would Everton's manager be making statements on other club's websites? Would Everton's manager be in the middle of a media storm about his new dream job?

Just be honest to yourself.

When has a situation like this ever happened before?
