Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

David Moyes is a man with Everton at heart and he's left the club in a strong position to kick on, you don't turn down Manchester United if you're right in the head. He will be totally focused on our next two games and I'm sure he's talking to Kenwright about who the right man to take Everton on again will be.

Why do Evertonians want to cheer man utds manager, its baffling
He done well for us most of the time, been paid well, board supported him even after the most shameful night in Rumania.
Hes had us hanging on will he or wont he, but hes made his decision, so he should leave now.

The whole thing is alleged to have started after a couple of large bets lumped on moyes that spooked the bookies, snowballed from there, the information was out there prior to the share drop, and the price recovered quickly to a minimal drop any way.
If the announcement was to steady shares then the reality is Moyes is Man utd's manager. He isn't Everton's anymore, contracts or not, as such he should be relieved of his duities here, if it was the other way around he would be frogmarched out of old trafford

Agree completely

Yeah but we're plucky little Everton who are lucky to have Man United's next assistant manager in charge for two games. We should be thankful he is gracing us with his time, to be honest.
It is that which grates on me, the bend over and take it, forget the lube we're ok, attitude, be grateful, as an Evertonian I don't accept anyone is better than us and we should know our place, I'll accept more succesful clubs, we have to, but by allowing other competition to treat us like this gives them a huge psychological advantage that too many here take lying down.
It starts at the top and has trickled down for many years now. The identity of this club is being ripped apart and too many are helping it happen ffs.

No thanks.

Call me bitter, petty or what you will but I want someone with Evertons best interests at heart to be in charge of the Everton first team. It astonishes me that you don´t.

I just want to keep a lid on it and to get through the next two matches with a minimum of fuss.

That means no public, hysterical displays of emotion.

I want three points on Sunday and think the best way to achieve that is to carry on as near to normal as is possible.

this is ridiculous. So players who sign pre-contract agreements with other clubs should not play out the rest of the season? We need another win to secure 6th place, and the players are hopefully not going to be half-arsed against west ham. If moyes left immediately, then that i reckon would have a bad impact on the team. Lets just get behind the team, thank moyes for 11 mostly good years and then see what happens

Wish we were more ruthless, enough of the sentimentality of it all. Just give the job to someone in backroom staff (Stubbs, Round, etc) for next 2 games

Manchester United are the biggest club on the planet, good luck to him. We're a big club who will attract a very good manager, Pereira's people being in contact with the club already being an example. Let's give him a standing ovation for the fantastic job he's done and not be bitter about it.

maybe not the standing ovation bit

Is right.

I can't help but think that the only reason we're left with this awful scenario, is Bill trying to screw them for a payout for the last 6 weeks of his deal & them refusing to agree to his terms. Thus leaving this ridiculous 'in limbo' situation. Once he failed to agree terms with United he should have shown Moyes the door anyway & kicked him up the arse on his way out of the door.

Obviously he'll be trying to take some of the staff with him, that alone is conflict enough. I'm not saying I'd boo or carry on, he deserves respect but the club has to be respected first.

Then point the finger of blame in the direction it belongs.

Toward Kenwright.

This debate shouldn't even be occuring.

Kenwright should have shook Moyes's hand, said goocbye and told Steve Round or Alan Stubbs or Kevin Sheedy to look after the team for the inter-regnum.

As you can see, the Everton family is deeply split on this issue and there could be some ugly scenes at Goodison on Sunday.

Many people I know whom are going the game have said they are going to make their displeasure known.

And just listen if Big Sam's totally ficused team take a two goal lead.
