People lash out if they don't feel listened to don't they?
And agitators will exploit that. And scum/opportunist arseholes will jump on.
And expressing a concern about uncontrolled immigration tends to fall down when presented with evidence which shows that migration adds a net positive for the country and many sectors in the UK would struggle without it.
One of the big problems with the management of immigration is dropping refugees into areas which are already deprived and already struggle with access to services - so the tension becomes heightened.
But let's contrast the presentation of Ukrainian refugees in public and press compared to those from Syria/Afghanistan....its world's apart.
