It’s true. The centre ground is boring voice online, but it’s where most the sensible discussions take place…
Many people that voted for brexit believed that there was a Norway / Swiss style option available. Of course there never was - but let’s face it that is a centralist view point.
Equally, being sympathetic to genuine refugees but worried about unchecked immigration is probably a sensible position.
Problem is that these positions are only spoken by the people that want to push the envelope ever further. The centre ground needs to recapture the patriotism, define what makes us “British” tolerance, fairness, democratic. Too many people that i considered normal ish are now drawn the extreme.
The language caught on camera was particularly disgusting. I could barely believe my ears that people were openly using that language.
It’s a sorry state… let’s hope it’s a flash I. The pan.
Twitter needs to be ignored though by the normal people.
You can reason with bots and creating noise is there isn’t helping anyone
There has been a lot. Most of those calling for her to tend to have Israel/Union flags in their twitter bio and have names like "St George Patriot" and a description of themselves as "truth teller. My pronouns are Patriot. Anti woke, anti BBC, anti hamas, anti msm. XL bully owner. Proud dad."That was what was claimed, and I'm used to viewing mass scale demos like that and if it wasn't a hundred thousand it wasn't far short of it.
They came in their tens of thousands from around the country and swamped central London and camped out there hearing hate speeches and listening to 'music' and watching propaganda films.
Was that a great idea do you think given whats happened subsequently?
Cooper should resign. The fact there's been no calls for her to do so, as far as I know, is unfathomable.
Save our kids
Cruel despicable b******s. Just when you think things couldn’t go any lower.
Army needed asap.Just seen that video of rotheram that looks the worst yet , police pinned against a wall Gettin bricks launched at them from a couple of feet away
Agreed. The army would get criticised for being too aggressive by some though.Army needed asap.
Gone too far. I'm not sure the police are equipped for these levels of violence.Agreed. The army would get criticised for being too aggressive by some though.
Bizzies afraid to lay a hand on them in case they get accused of '2 tier policing' all the bastards outside that hotel in rotherham deserve a whack, they're putting peoples lives, maybe even kids lives, in danger.Agreed. The army would get criticised for being too aggressive by some though.
There will likely be kids in that hotel too, utterly terrified.Anyone who has played a part in what is happening in Rotherham right now needs charging with attempted murder.
With the greatest of respect to the differing views shared in this thread, these people deserve no sympathy or understanding. There are real issues that the government need to work together with local communities to address, but these horrible twunts should play no part in it.
Lengthy prison sentences for every one of them.
