Have a feeling this inflated grades as well. Including my own. A mate who is a lecturer was told to pass all course work by the overseas fee paying students even if it was a load of nonsense. So if that is set as a base line they have to up other peoples’ marks.

on my masters there was 2 Chinese girls who were probably paying more than everyone else combined. Found the whole course seemed geared towards making money rather than any academic or vocational enrichment and the lecturers were more concerned with their own ongoing research.And most of those are students. There are around 700,000 overseas students enrolled at UK universities, which represents around a quarter of the total student body. I mean we "could" limit their numbers, and start massively increasing tuition fees for domestic students. I can't see that going down well, can you?
