Qualifying for the Europa or Conference league: is it worth it?

Should we be concerned with qualifying for the lesser European competitions this season?

Voted tripe on toast. I like the fence, it's comfy.

Each to their own :coffee:

My opinion does change and now I believe if we win both our games (big if but doable) I think we would qualify. Because of the fixtures other teams have.

can see brentford failing but chelsea pippimg us which after them being the worst side in the league for a couple of months would be very frustrating

Which do I answer if I want us to try and get into those competitions?

"Should we be concerned with qualifying for the lesser European competitions this season?"

Concerned as in we should try to do it, or concerned as in "Ooh, that's concerning. Better not do that."

We had a real chance of that conference and a realistic chance to go into a tournament as favourites for the first time in decades , not to mention providing some great days out for us as a fanbase .

We blew it , conceding last minute equalisers and falling to last minute defeat whilst honestly not turning up . We had a chance but in reality I’m not sure we deserved it . Whether the opportunity comes around again is something I hope doesn’t haunt us .

Europa League is one thing but if anyone is sorry about the Conference League then go and watch TNS - sorry but the top 5 European leagues shouldn't be competing in that IMO. If missing out means we can spend more this summer that may be no bad thing.

Or we actually win something?????!!!

30+ years without a trophy and our fans keep turning their nose up as close to a sure thing and anyone can hope for.

Absolutely mental fan base

How would missing out on a European tournament be good for the spending budget? Surely it will be the opposite?

Is it worth it?

We are surely the only fanbase would try to ask this question well the certainly the only club who haven’t won a trophy for 30 years.

Losers.

Yes it’s worth it. It would be a huge chance to win a trophy.

The coping mechanisms in this fanbase is a disease.
