I don’t think Wolves score if this moment never happened. They had absolutely no sting going forward. It was possession footy without any end product. This just reminds me of calamity Jags from Koeman’s first season. He was dropped that year for that reason. We surely can’t keep this guy in the 1st team.
He's out for the next three anyway. No way he'll get back in.

Yeah bias is what it is. It's understandable like, but I always try and think how I'd feel if it was the other way.

Personally, I called that a red before the card was out of the referees pocket. It was that obvious.

Tubes mate you watch grown men smothered in baby oil touch each most nights, so forgive me for not taking your viewpoint seriously.

Same here mate, I watched it a fair few times, then asked myself if that was against us how would I react, I would have been screaming for a red.

On additional viewing ref got it right. He destroys him after winning the ball and the current laws say that is a foul. At that point it is a last man foul because no one can really cover for Jags so he has to go.

That said absolute state of that touch. Gerrard at its finest although Stevie could have learned a thing or two about stopping the guy afterward

The rule is you've got to be in control of the tackle, and if you aren't and the studs make contact because you've overstretched then it's reckless and dangerous play. Jagielka is overstretched and he's studs up into the shin/upper ankle of the player, and had no control over the tackle.

So it's a definite straight red by that rule.

It's also definitely denying a goalscoring opportunity because the ball has ran loose and the oncoming player is in behind if he isn't taken out. Jagielka is the last man.

So it's a definite straight red by that rule.

You have to judge it by how the game is, not how you wish it was. The rules are clear on it - it's a red card.
Go away. I want it to be a stupid ref decision

If only he could have stopped that free kick from going in.
