I could only watch the first half and he looked way better than in previous games. Obviously not world class, far from it. He if was actually played at that position the*entire season he could have scored a few. Really dont blame him for missplaced passes and looking a little lost at times honestly as he probably didnt played at that positions since he signed from Rangers.
Really think we'll have a better player in Naismith next season

If he's been wearing blades he should switch to studs. He's falling over because of his footwear and needs to stand on his feet and forget about any contract he has with a boot manufacturer.

if he got a go behind the striker i think he could be alright. he is coming back from a serious injury and has barely played. and when he has played it has been out of position. he will never make it as a winger but behind i think he could be our new cahill. he gets into some great positions and is pretty decent in the air.

moyes really should have given him and jelavic a go together for a few games at least. could have possibly got the best out of both of them

could have something to do with his injuries. its possible that hes done his knee twice wearing studs and feels like it wont happen in blades

He did okay . He will never be a first teamer but i think we have saved alot of money than buying a squad player. He cannot play wide but he does have the attributes to play as a striker . He has a bad pass and touch but they can be improved in the summer . Maybe when the going was tough moyes should of brought him on as a centre foward and not a winger and he could of popped up for a few goals

Out of position? Check
Long term injury? Check
Played with Jelavic? Check

This is what's known as "house" in Naismith bingo.

Fair point that lad. If true then some serious work over the summer to strengthen the area round his knee is needed ... which hopefully will give him the confidence to turn and stay on his feet.

The lad knows where the goal is. Hopefully he turns out to be OK when played in position rather than plain old fashioned gash.

Did well in the first half, faded in the second. Fitness?

No - after a decent first half in his natural position Moyes put him wide right. Result? An anonymous second half.

I'd prefer him even as a striker rather than Jelavic. But then I'd prefer my mother up front rather than Jelavic.

Gave the ball away far to many times and Brendan Rodgers son has a better first touch (off the field)(and maybe indeed on the field)

Honestly when he was playing in his natural position in the first half, he looked decent, but a lot of people on here won't rate him even if he does well just because of their hate for him. I don't rate the guy personally but playing behind the striker he looked reasonable, the time he slipped over was just unlucky.

From someone who has had an acl injury I take my hat off to Naismith to have torn his acl in both knees in the past 2 - 3 years to still running around with great work rate is beyond me it used to worry me running because your knees feel unstable

Apart from his goal, any time the ball came to him, he fell over.

He's very good at finishing from inside 18 yards but not so great at running, passing, tackling, heading or generally remaining upright.

same as yakubu. tbh, if a striker does feck all but scores a winner with their only touch all the time then that's good enough for me. They're paid to score, i think naismith would do that similarly to dempsey who i don't really rate but he does seem to score when given a chance.

he's a squad player who we got on a free, i wasn't expecting miracles, but he does seem to get in that goalscorning position - something you need off the bench when your struggling to score against a norwich type team
