Minor things that confuse you in daily life

Used to get that bus from Aigburth Vale to North East Tech on Muirhead Avenue. What a trek - it went bloody everywhere!

I live close to the swan and when I was young I saw it constantly, then I was in aigburth once and saw it there and was confused as a kid as aigburth was miles away, then in my early teens I was lost in netherton, and I turned a corner and there was a bloody 61,

On the topic of escalators: Isn't the general rule you stand one side if you can't be arsed walking, and the other side is for people who want to walk? I get confused when selfish gets seem to think it's fine to stand next to each other and don't realise the escalator standing protocol. I've noticed this in certain countries, for example in the UK and most of Western Europe, 'walkers' can usually make their way up the escalators on the left hand side without too much hassle, whereas in China you'll really struggle to get up as they're mostly so ignorant they'll just stand on both sides and you've got no chance.

Why is Nutella so popular?
Cos it's delicious and incredibly versatile. Have it with peanut butter, have it with jam, have it with bread, crackers, put it with ice cream, have it in a toastie, even eat it with cheese ffs, it's ace. But I don't eat it because it's simply too unhealthy and I am the kind of person who can put on weight easily. Best avoided, even if it is delicious.

Car parks, I mean ones you've never been in before. Ground level ones are usually ok, but those ones in like malls for instance. Trying to get out.

I feel sorry for anyone who visits Liverpool one car park for the first time, quite easy to get in, a different ball game getting out.

It doesn't help that they have exit signs for both cars and pedestrians all over the place. Took me ages to get out the first time I parked there.

And don't start me on the cost of it....

I’ve lost my car twice in the car park at Westfield in Stratford. I was with a girl one of those times and it was embarrassing as hell.

I would add to that buses that start their route after 9am and the last bus is at 4:30pm, so only useful if you are unemployed or retired, not if you actually need to get to and from work

to be fair though they are normally like village circulars that either go round supermarkets or hospitals and that aren't they

so I assume for the non driving oldies

Is the 68 still going, made the 61 look like the 500

haha yeah it is, the amount of times ive been stood waiting for that on boxing day to get to goodison to find out its not part of "reduced service" before a mad dash to town and down county

youd think after the 3rd year of doing it id have learned, but nope
