Up bright and early this morning as we're off on our hols.
As some of you may remember we lost our holidays at the end of February due to me and Mrs LT having Covid and had to reschedule, I can't believe it's come around so quick.
We're off to Lanzarote, first hols abroad for over 2 years since it all kicked off so really looking forward to it apart from the travelling.

Think Guernsey is where they plan to moor up their boat for a month or so and explore the islands from there. But there are flights to Jersey from Newquay, so that's where I'll be travelling too/from. After I've spent time with them on their boat, I was thinking I may spend some time on my own on Jersey before flying back.

@Barnfred 55. As everyone else has said don’t feel guilty about having a good day, if anyone deserves it you do. Enjoy the boat trip - you have been invited because they want you there. Anyone who thinks I have an endearing sense of humour is great in my book, that could change if you met me though.lol. I saw a piece once on a Channel Island called “Les Ecrehous “ , more or less a desert island. Would love to go, I’m no traveller though, I’ve only left England once - I had a week in Wales when I was seven.?

Not me but the wife has decorated these flower pots for use as ashtrays ,I have tried to stop her smoking but nothing works . They are table napkins not paintings .

Had a lovely lunch down at Mylor Harbour on the River Fal. Muscles cooked in cider with chorizo. Very tasty. Over 600 boats, mainly sailing yachts, moored here. Fantastic natural sheltered harbour.
