A treat. Simple as that. Why an overnight stay ? ( apart from to have few beers and a good night ) Isn't everywhere in Ireland within an days drive there and back ?
The shorter campaign is brutal.Thurles for me Sunday. Looking forward to that too. 4 games in 5 weekends. Tough going
Mate, no one feels sorry enough for a person to invite them onto a boat.Feel a bit guilty saying this with all the bad news around the thread today, but I've actually had a good day. Met the neighbours for coffee this morning, and spent a couple of hours with Cal's old workmate this afternoon. I popped around to the cottage to see her but she'd finished early and just caught her on the way out. So we spent the afternoon in my back garden having a couple of drinks enjoying the sun. Company and conversation. Two of the things I'm missing most in my life at the moment.
The neighbours, having just returned from South Africa on Wednesday, are off on their travels again next Wednesday. They're off on their very nice motor launch and plan to be away for the whole summer exploring the Channel Isles and Brittany. So I have the loan of them in the short time they are here. We're going out for lunch tomorrow, Monday the wife is taking me to the local nurseries to get some bedding plants and Tuesday she's going to drop me off in town (Truro) whilst she gets her hair done. Truro is the only place down here where they have the bigger chain stores and, although it's less than 20 miles away, it isn't the easiest place to get to.
They asked if i want to join them for a spell when they are in the Channel Isles. It's something that was on the to do list for Cal and I and I have a good friend who lives in St Helier, an old client actually. Plus I think it would be good for me. It's amazingly good of them to ask me really. I frequently wonder whether they just feel sorry for me, but maybe they do actually enjoy my company.
There match tomorrow night will be worth watching. 2 best teams playing. They could possibly meet 3 timesThe shorter campaign is brutal.
Limerick look fit for WWE.

Ahh this is crap news . My bet is you’re still here past your 88 birthday . In the words of Keats don’t go quietlySaw the specialist today at Windsor Hospital. Got more info on where we are. Due to my 'heart failure' condition, they wont do chemo or an operation though radio therapy is an option. Under the circumstances he has given me 2 years which takes me to 88, Can't really complain - good run. Just hope that Everton aren't in the Championship when I depart.
They just feel sorry !!!!! Well done Fred ,please don't feel guilty , Cal will be there with you and ticking off her bucket list too .All the pluses in that so it is a must do .Feel a bit guilty saying this with all the bad news around the thread today, but I've actually had a good day. No it's a woman mate. Not from Speke. She used to be one of my clients. Our Paul went spud picking there once but that was probably the late 70sI worked in St Helier for 10 yrs, quite a few Speke lads there at that time 1980-90 it's not Tony Phillips is it?
Have a fantastic time.Up bright and early this morning as we're off on our hols.
As some of you may remember we lost our holidays at the end of February due to me and Mrs LT having Covid and had to reschedule, I can't believe it's come around so quick.
We're off to Lanzarote, first hols abroad for over 2 years since it all kicked off so really looking forward to it apart from the travelling.
You all have a great day.
The Abbey Gardens are magnificent. An incredible micr climate shows off plants you would normally only see in the Canary IslandsTresco is on my must go to list. The Abbey gardens look incredible. The beaches on St Martin likewise.
