Yeah I've made a few. Harrisa sauce is what you need if you can get it. You don't need much. Dried fruit like sultana and apricots and also some chickpeas go well with a tagine.I bought some Ras el hanout yesterday to do a lamb tagine as I just haven't quite got the taste for middle eastern /north african food yet and want to give it another try .What was it Einstein said " If you do the same again and again but expect a different result ! " I am the same with sushi ,I just don't see the point of all the fuss -it is just raw fish with three different flavours . So have you tried any Tagine type stuff ?
Ras el hanout is nice on lamb or pork done on a barbie.
