Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

Been a bit busy recently.

I've taken advantage of the mild winter weather to alter a section of the garden and undertake some hard landscaping.

I ripped up a grass path linking the main lawn to the rest of the garden and planted it with a large acer , pitisphorum and rhodededron that I moved from elsewhere. That was reasonably easy although the mature acer was a toughie to dig out .

Then I created a path using York stone and setts and boy was that bloody hard work. Finished it yesterday and my back is now killing me 😂.

Looking forward to tonight's game with some trepidation. Whenever we have a chance to make a major leap forward in the table we seem to bottle it. Come on Moyes be brave for once.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, Mr G off out to play with his mates this morning, I’m awaiting the arrival of the dachshund along with an assortment of toys which I will be expected to keep throwing round the house. A refusal is met with a look, further refusals result in barks of ever increasing noise levels. Resistance is futile.
Had a good weekend with the grandkids, teaching Jess to knit and she is getting the hang of it rather well unlike her mother who gave up after about 30 minutes. Family relationships came up in the conversation.
J What’s an in law?
Me Your Dad is my son in law because he’s married to my daughter.
J I think Daddy likes you.
Me Oh good I’m pleased about that, once upon a time it was a joke that men didn’t like their mothers in law.
J Oh yes he definitely likes you, he thinks you’re funny.
I’ll take that as a compliment.😂
Have a good day, all.💙
