Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

. That's my school years as well! Im trying to think of any Bluecoat boys I knew but there are very few. A couple I used to say hello to on the 80 bus home from school. One might have been called Julian. Being in the Catholic education system, we did all our socialising with St Edwards SFX and Cardinal Allen.
Julian! Bloody hell you were posh. But then you did live near Cressington lol

I hope they behaved themselves on the bus , we were told we were “Ambassadors of the school” when we were in uniform 😀

Same at my school, when in uniform beret, or straw boater to be worn at all times and strictly no eating, drinking or chewing gum. My friend and I were spotted eating a packet of crisps by an eagle eyed prefect in town while waiting for a bus home and got a detention. Didn’t stop us though!🤣

Eating crisps you say?
Glad to here that you weren't REALLY naughty like Theresa May running through the farmer's wheat fields.

We had a ridiculous brown felt hat that was a bit like a modern police woman’s hat with the brim turned up at the back and always had to wear it outdoors with the uniform too. Wigan Girls High School also 71-76 (I’d had enough and went to Wigan Technical College to carry on my education until I was 18 and they at least treated you like adults there).

Hi folks. I hope ypu are all OK. We are on Granny duties this weekend so the little guy is visiting. He has joined in enthusiastically with cheering Bournemouth's last minute winner. He doesn't seem very sleepy at the moment....
I'm still very underprepared for the forthcoming holiday. I reckon Tuesday is the day I sort it all out!
Im glad you're having a good time @Ducans elbow
Have a good night everybody x

Armagh begin their league campaign tomorrow with a short hop to Clones, Co Monaghan. Decimated by injuries and retirements but opportunity awaits for plenty. Half of the players who wore the jersey last year are unavailable for various reasons (15/30). To hit the pinnacle of Irish sport to rebuilding in 18 months is what you get in amateur games but rather that than payment for players.
