I agree. The first half was awful - so bad but the second half was completely different. Having KDH back is a big positive as well as the AFCON 2. I still think we've got a squeak at Europe.

The worst of here was in the early morning but Armagh wasn’t in the Amber Warning area. Caledon is about 40 mins from me and seems to have got it worse. The roads have drained off quickly for us anyway. The fields remain waterlogged though with plenty of rain forecast the rest of the week. I selfishly am glad I don’t have to be anywhere until Saturday.

What a debacle the first half was. It’s no use moaning that the atmosphere isn’t good when they put on a performance like that. We looked clueless.

Well to try and take my mind off last night and inspired by @anjelikaferrett ’s holiday prep, I’ve spent the day planning this years island hop. Thanks to jet 2 now flying in and out of Samos it means our Dodecanese hop is now linear rather than circular- Kos - Samos via a few islands that I think you did @anjelikaferrett last year. Something to look forward to on this miserable day.
Our little family are on their first foreign holiday together in Lanzarote so we are relieved of grandparent duties this week. We were all anxious about how she’d cope with the flight not wanting to annoy other passengers but apparently she was a little star and got very excited at take off bless her.

Hello again. I had a successful trip to Darlington which was shorter than anticipated because it was so cold, wet and windy. However mission accomplished. I only need to sort the cat out now - she's going to live with Charlotte while we are away so I need to get her supplies in. Now to start packing!
Quick update for @Armaghtoffee . My brother's foreign birth registration came through last week and he has applied for his Irish passport. The timescale they have given is 20 days. I'm still waiting for my foreign birth registration- which is annoying me because guess who did all the research and ordering of birth marriage and death certificates!!

There are a couple of other islands I want to check out before definitely booking - Agathonisi and Ikaria. My brains a bit stewed now so I might take a break from it

Another week and another visit to A&E , same thing - cellulitis to the face - this time on the opposite side .
Sadly my experience of 2 weeks ago hasn't been replicated as I've been here for 3 hours and not seen yet.
Really fed up. It's just one thing after another.
