Starting in Kos then - Leros, Leipsoi, Patmos, Samos. It might change this is the third draft - I’ve already planned the reverse journey - Samos to Kos, and one going in and out of Samos, and decided on Kos to Samos. There are a couple of other islands I want to check out before definitely booking - Agathonisi and Ikaria. My brains a bit stewed now so I might take a break from it

4 hours is a result compared to the waiting times in NI. I’m glad you were able to put the time in anyway, nothing as bad as waiting.

Well apart from the first 45 mins in what can only be described as a load of cr&@, it was a great time at the stadium, it was very impressive and we had the Trinity hospitality tickets that helped

Was behind Steve Bruce coming down on the elevator


But absolutely loved Liverpool and all it had to offer

Morning everyone,

Another week and another visit to A&E , same thing - cellulitis to the face - this time on the opposite side .

Sadly my experience of 2 weeks ago hasn't been replicated as I've been here for 3 hours and not seen yet.

Really fed up. It's just one thing after another.

Oh that’s awful for you, things seem to come all at once don’t they. I hope you get it sorted out quickly.

Good morning all on this chilly one ,I hope all slept well ,well all bar @Val P it appears and have a super day today .
I hope @jazzy is feeling better and makes an astounding recovery .
Well we have a sophisticated ground pump heating system and of course at these temperatures you need it most ,yes it quit when I was having a shower ,like someone turning off a light . I checked and it is something with the "brine " the fluid that is the refrigerant in reverse ,so no hot water .Anyway as with all things today ,switch it off and let it reset over night ,voila it is going again ! A check with the makers tech later to see if we are on borrowed time and that is a fluke so here is to hoping .

Hey Val! My mum lives on Leros and I visit often and was on all of those earlier last summer!

There's a tour boat on Leros (Agia Marina) that goes out to Leipsoi and Patmos for a day-cruise which are also great as it's an older boat and you're just so close to the water and everything, they stop for a swim midway at White Islands too.

@anjelikaferrett didn't know you're a Dodecanese enjoyer too We could've had a GOT meetup in the middle of actual nowhere!

Absolutely. We went to Rhodes Symi Kalymnos Leros and Kos last October. I loved Leros - Absolutely beautiful. Next time we'll have a meet up!

Ha ha, you spotted the time - I’m just getting over a virus which kindly wakes me up in the night making me cough - then I can’t get back to sleep. Annoying.

Can I pick your brains . I fancy Agathonisi but wonder whether it’s more of a day trip than a 3/4 night stay - what do you think. You may regret telling me this as I might have to pester you with questions. Only joking (maybe )

She's the type of person who can say she doesn't like doing something but keeps doing - the same way with Greece! She's been coming home permanently for I think about 6 years now and keeps going back "for one last time"

It has its negatives and the prices for some things like internet access are bizarrely high (in my opinion), but on the overall it's pretty good. Just try not being extremely close to the sea! The place she used to stay years ago is literally on the post card for the island (see below) and it's nice and fresh over the warm months, but hell through late October to late March/early April - it keeps flooding, etc.
Also you have to be prepared for crawlies - big spiders, scorpions, snakes, etc. Might not be dangerous, but that doesn't make them not-disgusting

I'd say given the distance from Leros you're probably better off on a several night stay, doubt it's anything less than 3-4 hours considering (easiest/quickest info I found, might be wrong) it's a ferry to Lipsi first!

And ask away, as long as I can answer I will, I don't mind.

I wrote it down here, I think in the travel thread, but this year we went plane from Sofia to Rhodes, and then Bluestar ferry to Leros, and on the way back we took the catamaran from Leros to Rhodes, which does a bizarre trip where it stopped on the same island twice for some reason. All the stops are so scenic along it though, feels like a good trip that doesn't mentally destroy your will to live Overall lovely region of the world and I'd like to visit without the obligation of being in Leros - it's great and all, and my mum knows half the island and all the good spots, but sometimes you wanna discover stuff for yourself too like. This year we went and got a rent-a-car instantly, reminded ourselves of where Gourna is, and then went wherever we wanted to, found some really cool places.

Good morning all on this cold day -25° thankfully the heating must have reset and is plodding along fine .I hope all had a fine night's rest and have a great day today . I got the days mixed up so it is the presser later ,I did manage however to have a good moan ,some of my best material is when we watch UK tv freeview channels ,the adverts are begging or have you begging to stay alive one after another .I suppose it is the price we have to pay for free tv .
We watched a series called " The game " a bit unsettling .
