Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this white one here .I hope all are well and had a good rest last night . Not much happening here and I can't say I am looking forward to tomorrow . We have been watching a hospital drama series called " The Pitt " and even with subtitles I hardly understand a word at times ! I really feel exhausted after watching .
Have a great day all COYB

Morning all, hope everyone has managed to escape the worst of Storm Goretti. Not much planned for today, the husband said it may be a good idea to continue clearing out. The other day I found wine glasses and teaspoons , still in their box which were a wedding presents, they are packed ready to go to the charity shop. We’ve three boxes of stuff. It’s a wrench to part with them but I’m ok with it just not sure I can face doing any more just yet. I might suggest a trip to the garden centre, I’m told that’s what old people do!
Have a good day, all.šŸ’™

I estimate at least 4 sheep were sheared for the jumper I am wearing tonight. I bought it in Next but am assured it came from Irish sheep as the wool is green. Kids football but I took @blue1948’s advice and took a hip flask. I got ahead of myself though in the house and had to refill it before leaving for the game. I fear I will be the embarrassing Dad in the crowd šŸ˜€

So so cold. On the weather App Crossmaglen is -2 but it feels way colder. My granny always said the cold gets into your bones and as I age I understand that more.

Rarely for me I have nothing in the calendar for Saturday or Sunday. I intended a month off work, returning on Monday, but things change as they do. A mates rate one, good family who need advice. They got 3 days of last week to have a chat then me to hit the books. Not complaining in the slightest I must clarify. Privilege to be asked for help by good neighbours.

But back to my free Saturday and Sunday šŸ˜€. Please please Everton don’t ruin it before it even starts.

Good morning all. I'm at Durham Station waiting for my train. I've fully layered up.- vest T shirt, sweatshirt. I haven't worn this many clothes since early morning picket lines. I feel like I'm a bit conspicuous in my Everton hoodie and royal blue hat, scarf and gloves in amongst all the Sunderland fans also heading south!
Enjoy your day Anj, sounds like you’re well prepared. I’ve just finished reading the latest Richard Osman book about his Thursday Murder Club group, your ā€œ picket lineā€ quote made me smile as it comes across a bit like character Ron , an ex-miner and veteran of many a picket line , but a WHU fan ! Stay safe on your travels.
