Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Leave for Liverpool 2 weeks today looking forward to it, first time back home in 15 years, staying at an Airbnb down town, we have tickets for the Leeds game in the Trinity section

I’m going to see lots of changes in town for sure, 2 of the blokes coming with us are Canadian will be a great experience got them.
Boy you are going to see some changes. Some parts of town are unrecognizable, other parts still the beautiful same

What is it about fresh sheets that we all love ? Is it the soap smell /fragrance or do they just feel different . We have different colours Dark green ,Wine and of course Blue amongst them so I wonder is it that ? I don't want to make your mind up for you but your own chef would be very nice especially if he can change the sheets while the meal is in the oven .
Wine? You mean you have red sheets and bedding?
FFS!

Morning all, heavy overnight rain means that the paths are clear so ice gripper shoe things are no longer needed at the moment. I’m ready prepared for the next time which could be quite a long time , scrolling through my phone photos shows that the last time we had any significant snow was January 2021. Snow here is hardly a regular occurrence.
Agree about the fresh sheets @anjelikaferrett , one of life’s little luxuries.
Have a good day, all.💙

Morning all, not too bad here at the moment, still snow and ice on ground but hasn’t got worse. A 32 mile round trip for me next for a chiropractor appointment. And today is “ Shutter Day” when they are coming to fix six sets of shutters in our conservatory. Hard to believe this started in the summer when Mrsbl was complaining it was too hot in the conservatory and wanted to look at air conditioning. Hopefully this is a good solution aesthetically as well. Have a good day all.

Afternoon all. Going to miss the match tonight as we are on grandparent duties and sons working in Blackburn, daughter in law is working in Manchester so logistically we can’t make it as by the time they get home it will be too late. Can’t say I’m devastated with the weather forecast. After Saturday our next home match that’s not a weekday night one is against Chelsea in March. That seems excessive to me.
Anyway let’s hope it’s better than the last outing.
Listening to Dyches post match interviews and it’s virtually word for word what he said when he was with us. Don’t miss him one bit.
Have a great day everyone

maybe a wise decision that Val

Good morning all on this dark and chilly one here .I hope all slept well ,surprisingly I slept all through possibly the first time in months .
Well if that ref performs like that for the rest of his career he will do me , I think he was just about perfect and we should have no complaints ,I am actually pleased Keane got sent off ,what exactly was he thinking would happen with a dozen cameras around the ground and Grealish ,well he does know better and he was trying to bully the new boy ref .
How that leaves us now is another matter it must surely mean Jake is moved to his best position and Patto gets a game ,I thought he played OK last time out .Harrison for me was our best player considering and there certainly is a player in there .I must mention Jordan's save at the end was world class .
The rest too many stupid passes and very little idea ,you all know my thoughts on Moyes , he must get shut of some of these players as their just strolling around when out of possession but I realise his hands are tied at the moment .
Have a great day allCOYB

Well I missed the game last night (I was at Armagh v Down) and I’m not entirely sure I want to watch it today. I knew the score was 1-0 but the longer we didn’t get the second goal I felt this could be vulnerable. I didn’t see that ending coming though! Surely the size of the squad now means there must be signings now.
You didn't miss anything AT
