Very much my thoughts tooWell that was rather disappointing want it! Everton never seem to take an opportunity like this to cement themselves in the top end of the table.

Spot on same old Everton.Very much my thoughts too
Oh dearMorning all, I’ve just been staring at my wardrobe wondering which is the warmest option for today’s game. Snow is forecast here and in Liverpool. I’d be a liar if I said I was looking forward to going but I have massive FOMO so off I go. COYBs![]()
Same! I have been ill since my Friday freezing and was so glad of a warm house to watch that today. Feel sorry for @blue to the bone getting that performance after a long trip.Spot on same old Everton.
At least I could watch it in the warm and didn't get a swearing ban.
You and me both, my “cold” has come and gone for 2 monthsI'm sorry if I left the impression that I'm really struggling with this cold as that wasn't the intention. Just a few sniffles and ocassional tickly cough. Really I'm just lamenting the fact that, for the younger me, these things would have fully cleared in a week or two but these days they linger much longer. Just getting old I guess.![]()
Is there such a thing as a swearing ban? If so the people who sit behind me should get one. Don’t get me wrong - and it may surprise peopleSpot on same old Everton.

Only 5 phials today and a wonderful nurse ,I hardly felt a thing .Morning all, it’s a beautiful bright crisp morning with a smattering of overnight snow. Just right for a walk but frozen pavements and a fear of a broken hip means we won’t be venturing far today. Seeing our son and DIL clear out her Mum’s house last year made us realise that we didn’t want to leave the same problem behind us, it wouldn’t be fair. Today seems like a good day to start …
I agree about the swearing @Val P , did I read that some seats had yellow cards on them because the occupants had been reported for bad language?
Good luck with the blood tests @blue1948 16 phials in the words of Tony Hancock that’s almost an armful
Have a good day, all.![]()

Sadly swearing is the norm for many people , just part of their everyday vocabulary. I was standing in our usual place at a match a few months ago and ten yards to the left this guy, about 40 , was swearing his head off at the ref and lino …with his son of about 10 standing next to him. That then becomes the kids norm , sad really. Is there such a thing as a swearing ban? If so the people who sit behind me should get one. Don’t get me wrong - and it may surprise people- but I have been known to use the occasional profanity when it was felt necessary or out of exasperation. However the people behind me all through the match from start to finish are shouting down my ear a non stop commentary of which player should be doing what, and that Everton are a load of ****, and he’s a f****** c *** or a useless f****** t***, and it’s just relentless. One comment today towards a woman with 2 kids who turned around was - if you don’t like swearing you should go in the f***** family enclosure. I’m certainly no prude and expect a level of this nowadays but honestly.
I’m thinking of taking earplugs next time.
Yes they do apparently do this, however I feel it’s a waste of time - I’ve actually heard some guys laughing that they might get one if they carry on. I think part of it is that I am missing the people who used to sit near us in Upper Gwladys who were so nice.Morning all, it’s a beautiful bright crisp morning with a smattering of overnight snow. Some kids just don’t stand a chance do they. I think it’s just the non stop 90 minutes of it that is just too much.Sadly swearing is the norm for many people , just part of their everyday vocabulary. It is on TV now as well as sexually explicit scenes ,I am no prude but what does it teach kids to be the norm ?Sadly swearing is the norm for many people , just part of their everyday vocabulary.
