Morning all and belated Happy New Year wishes from me. Our Sair Heidie charity run was a great success yesterday raising £822 for local charity Feeling Blue which provides support to people who are affected by suicide . Putting out the arrow/ caution runners signs early on in the dark with gusting high winds was tricky, then the hail and wind came on and off throughout the morning. I was shattered last night and this morning and maybe time to hand over to someone younger this year, but it was a super social event too with 80 people milling around the Church Hall chatting away . It’s been running for 26 years now and has become quite a local tradition.

Well done mate. A great achievement from volunteerism.

I was shocked and dismayed when he said he wanted to send Armstrong back because he wants Preston to be promoted ,talk about a conflict of interests . The sooner he is gone the better , so sad Alcaraz had a stinker and then is injured !!! He just doesn't seem on the right wavelength most of the time .

Wow , that's a weird stick to beat Moyes with.

Brings back Harrison back because we are short of numbers - correct decision.
Hopes that numbers will be back up by the end of the month so he can send him back to continue his development - correct decision.
However if Harrison plays well might keep him - correct decision.
Wants his old club to be promoted - understandable.

There's no conflict of interest here. Moyes has been transparent.

As I say , strange stick to beat him with. Lack of a RB , yes .
Sometimes overly negative tactics , yes.

The progress under Moyes in undeniable.

How far he can take us is the far more important question.

For now he is the perfect fit.

Next season? Depends on the budget and ambition of the club but as Wham fans are finding out , be careful what you wish for.

Keep meaning to ask you but forget, have you seen much of Braiden Graham. I was reading someone saying that Everton are unsure of his best position but are accepting that he isn’t a 9 despite his goals.

Good morning all. We have snow! Not much of a covering but it is still coming down and everything is very pretty. I just hope that it doesn't stick around until next week when I head to Liverpool for the FA Cup match. I've decided to get the train again so fingers crossed.
Yesterday I put my holidays in for our trip to Australia- it's not long now. I'm excited and a bit nervous all at the same time! What I am super excited about however is that we have booked a whale watching trip at a place called Bremer Bay. February is peak season for orcas who hunt there. There is also a chance of seeing blue whales and sperm whales. I may explode if I see any of the above.
On a more scary subject- Trump. He is a sociopathic dictator and what has happened in Venezuela overnight is shocking. I would be very scared if I lived in Greenland and even possibly Canada. You could not pay me enough money to go to USA at the moment.

Afternoon everyone. A dusting of snow here too but quickly disappearing as the sun hits the ground. Bitterly cold and seeing @Armaghtoffee post from the other evening reminded me of the game against Newcastle and how cold I was. How many layers will I need for tomorrow I wonder?
I’m sure there are others to fill their shoes but I wish nothing but harm to Trump and Putin. Like you @anjelikaferrett i have never been inclined to go to America and now I never will be. So much for the peace award which would be funny if it wasn’t so indicative of the state of the world.

Pretty much sorted for my Liverpool trip now and looks like I won't have a great deal of downtime this trip. Which is not great news for the old liver.

Hope you all have a great weekend. Another Everton 3 points could push us into the European spots.
