-19° is hard to comprehend. I am at a game this evening and the weather forecast is 1° but with a windchill of -6°. I am dreading it in all honesty.Good morning all on this fine day here -19° yesterday .I hope all have recovered from the revelry and are settling down to the year ahead .
I can only wonder why they haven't signed any players yet Lol .
What and who will be available ? He must get Jimmy signed up long term as a priority .
Have a great day all COYB
It is totally different to the weather in the UK because ours is a dry cold not damp as you have ,it is the wind chill that is the killer .Make sure you use many skins rather than a big coat and tee shirt ! Enjoy the game take a hip flask for insurance .-19° is hard to comprehend. I am at a game this evening and the weather forecast is 1° but with a windchill of -6°. I am dreading it in all honesty.
A great amount for a very worthwhile cause- well doneMorning all and belated Happy New Year wishes from me. Our Sair Heidie charity run was a great success yesterday raising £822 for local charity Feeling Blue which provides support to people who are affected by suicide . Putting out the arrow/ caution runners signs early on in the dark with gusting high winds was tricky, then the hail and wind came on and off throughout the morning. I was shattered last night and this morning and maybe time to hand over to someone younger this year, but it was a super social event too with 80 people milling around the Church Hall chatting away . It’s been running for 26 years now and has become quite a local tradition.
