Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

About 12 years ago I turned waste ground behind our house into a wildflower meadow , a lot of work initially but it’s thrived. I’ve often posted photos in this thread and other GOT threads. The blue flowers are Viper’s Bugloss , a magnate for bees , once established they s3lf seed and take over any bare ground. They usually take 15 months to initially get them to flower from seed but are worth it..

Here’s two,from previous years.

Bloody hell , what a view.

Depends on your soil I think.
Well that and if you can put up with the area looking a bit messy ( see what I did there ) 7 months of the year.
I think I have misjudged this then as I like a tidy garden and this one is public facing. Hmmm I am unsure now as a blaze of colour for a few weeks will not please me enough to outweigh 7 months of messy borders.

I may need to find an alternative spot for them then, around the back of the house solely for my own viewing pleasure.

I never knew they had collaborated together.

Ed Sheeran has his head screwed on. He is capable of great music but he knows that vanilla middle of the road stuff will make him very rich. I can’t fault his logic at all in fairness but just not my thing.
I feel the same about Jonathan Antoine he should be full blown Opera but it is his life I suppose and he will be richer for it .

Well in the space of today I am shifting from a garden border meadow to now considering planting it in pots around my patio 😀.

A colourful, tidy and low maintenance look is what I am really after!

I picked the seeds up in Asda so they should be handy got should you fancy giving it a go.
Thanks mate, we have an Asda in walking distance.
Will check it out next week, I'm going up to Elgin tomorrow for the weekend with Mrs LT
I'm going to see my nephew in a show, he works at the MOD base up there but is into his amdram and is playing in footloose at the town hall.
Looking forward to it.
