I’m the same. I love the big dogs the best. I love a dog who squashes you when they sit on your knee. I used to show my English bull terrier Rosie (I might have mentioned it before) and needed a second place at a championship show to get her to Crufts. Sadly we got a third. Shortly after that we rescued a little staffie dog who was being mistreated and had her spayed, which meant we could no longer show her. Apols if I’ve posted this before but I really loved her

I was accosted by a big dog on the bus home from Falmouth this afternoon. Her name was Rosie too funnily enough. Her mum was in the seat behind . She wasn't happy squashed under the seat so decided she would occupy the space next to me, which just happened to be adjacent to my shopping bags.She was big, maybe a lab/alsation cross. But she spent the whole journey with her head on my lap getting pampered like a proper flirt.

I need to explain. Many many years ago travelling on a bus journey of one hour up the valleys of south wales from Newport, I’d had a particularly hard day and was tired, dog tired. So, this gorgeous girl of similar age sat next to myself on the bus ride and had, how to say it an ample décolletage. Anyway I fell asleep resting my head on her chest. She didn’t move or wake me, until we got to the valley town we were both going to. I awoke and obviously apologised profusely but she merely smiled and said it was fine as we both got off the bus together. She was a stunner I have to say. Anyway when I got home I explained all this to my wife who laughed because after describing her she explained that everyone knew everyone in the town and she said the girl would have understood. The girl was on my bus home many times afterwards and we would talk but I never fell asleep again…true story…..

Good morning all on this hazy day here in FInland .I hope all are well and had a fine night's sleep . I managed another chat to my eldest son yesterday that was fomented by him , it ended well so I am on the up today .
We shopped yesterday and bought kidneys they were under 3€ per kilo ,I know some cannot eat them but that will be under 1€ each for a meal plus spuds etc under 2€ total per plate , they also had bananas at less than 1€ /kilo .It feels like the prices are going down a bit here .
