I think he's doing a great job. He's come in and had us completely dominate every game we've played so far. Perhaps he could have been clearer when teaching Jelavic the difference between his arse and his ankle, but that's the only criticism I can find.

Honestly, we've been three bits of luck/semi competent finishing away from being three wins from three. The outrage, while not unexpected, needs to be tempered. The players clearly are anxious at the moment, and I honestly believe we are one win away from hitting our straps.

As mentioned, questionable ref decisions have cost us potentially 6 more points. If we were on 7 points right now, everyone would be feeling a lot different.

Barkley is a star.

Delefeou looks a player. He's been better than Mirallas so far. He needs to play.

The goals will come. I'd rather we be sound in possession and defensively, because we can grind out points until the dam bursts.

I expect mid table this year. It's a transition year and I think if you just sit back and think of this as a project, you'll be a lot less miserable.

Thought he looked a lot more effective when he came on today Kone. Linked the play up better and didn't fall over every four minutes like Jelavic done.

Oh come on mate.

He couldn´t hold the ball up to save his life. Every time the ball went in to him, we lost possession. Not once did he manage to turn his man. Too weak. He was constantly off-side. Too slow. The two times he find himself in the right position what he managed was a weak header and a wrong footed finish over the bar.


Kone isn´t fantastic but at least he can suck the ball in and lay it off. Jelavic can´t. He also manages to turn with it once in a while which, again, Jelavic can´t.

You know, the stats speak for themselves. How many premiership matches since he last scored? About 12 right?

That great header was deflected anyway. And it went straight down the middle from what, 8 yards out? Not great at all really.
