So, three PL games in - what's your early verdict on Martinez?

Let's try an keep this to the positives (if you find that difficult, then that tells its own story...), but appreciating it's early days, what has impressed you?

So far I hate Martinez's football. It's slow, blunt, predictable and boring.

I'm starting to think he was a poor choice.

1st game - Spawny goals against us.

2nd game - Team parked the bus, couldn't break them down.

3rd game - On top completely, lacked decisions and cutting edge.

Overall - We lack cutting edge/final pass/striker.

HAHA just had a funny thought, imagine if Kenwright said 'right there is no way we are selling Felli or Baines, and here's 15m for a striker Roberto'

We need a striker, and it appears that the players are still very much getting used to the style. Whilst we need to switch it up and go for a more direct style at times it is probably difficult to switch between styles when you are trying to get used to them from cold.

You could notice at times players slightly unsure as to what to do because of this.

This bit. We look very encouraging defensively, and I think it's time Anichebe got a run on the pitch.

Not arsed about three from three as we could (and with some finishing should) have won them all.

We need to shoot more, and get it in the box rather than just tippy-tap it round the edge before someone miscontrols it or misplaces a pass.

Very frustrating to watch at the moment, doesn't seem to be a Plan B and never really look like breaking through teams who are happy to sit back and let us pass it round the nothing areas of the pitch. If only we had a striker...
